Well let me point out the differences so you understand the psychology behind the disappointment of real African people against South Africans.

1. The UK government does not condone nor support the acts being perpetrated by mischief makers and has come out VERY Vehemently to condemn it and TAKE ACTION.

2. It's a European issue and not an African issue.

3. Its also a racial issue more so than an immigrant issue as we understand the antecedents of European people towards Africans.

4. It is embarassing to see a fellow African maltreating another the way it is demonstrated in your young so called democracy and echoes of things that have happened on the continent that we are trying to move past.

I actually think the confidence interval is somewhere at 90% in terms of their similarities in language, culture, cuisine and genetics.

As stated they have the right to self determine as a different "ethnic" group but in terms of the above characteristics they are the same people.

This is the same case as the Urhobo and the Isoko.

An Ikwere man's origin is Igbo. The measure of the differences have not diverged to a less than 50% change to consider them truly "distinct".

This does not however restrict their right to be recognized as an ethnic group of their own.

I and my brother are two distinct humans but our origins "ARE" the same at a greater than 50% confidence interval.

With a confidence interval of 85% I would say yes. It is not insulting to assume they are practically the same people.

They share more than just language similarities my dear friend. Ikwerre is an Igbo dialect. Any linguist will confirm that to you.

Linguistics are a strong indicator of cultural, religious, ethnic and genetics ties.

Case in point. The Xhosa and Zulu tribes have languages that are to some extent mutually intelligible in comparison to All the igbo dialects that exist.

The each recognize their differences but are in consensus of their united Origin stemming from the Nguni language. There is no confusion there.

This is the same case with the Ikwerre question. It remains a dialect of the largre Igbo language regardless of the differing dialects that exist amongst the igbos in general.

The Ikwerre have every right to self actualize as a distinct group from the other unified Igbo groups however they are for all intent and purpose Igbo in origin.

Self actualization and self determination are fundamental human rights however fabricating history to support that lie is disingenuous.

Gayton has his tons of faults and as a matter of fact a lot of people and states have their own issues. But sports has always been used to fight against injustice and discrimination as it was used against white South African government,being used against Russia and I don't see why it shouldn't be used to fight against the plight of women in Afghanistan regardless of the morality of Gayton

But he is picking and choosing his fights.

Why does he not ban sports with Saudi Arabia, Dubai and the whole of the UAE as well. Their treatment of women is not exemplary either.
