The Namibian-born pastor plans to name the baby “Major Jesus”
– Prophet Shepherd Bushiri is the founder of Enlightened Christian Gathering Church (ECG)
A controversial pastor has shocked many after announcing that the Holy Spirit made his wife pregnant.
Prophet Shepherd Bushiri, a Malawi-born pastor, told his church followers that his wife, Mary Bushiri, is pregnant with his second child but the Holy Spirit is to thank.
According to the controversial prophet, the world will soon witness the rebirth of Jesus who will be renamed “Major Jesus”.
“For those who are doubting, wait for the birth of Major Jesus, you will believe this when doctors carry DNA test and see that Major Jesus the second will have the same genes as those of Jesus Christ,” said Bushiri.
Prophet Shepherd Bushiri is the founder of Enlightened Christian Gathering Church (ECG) and the Shepherd Bushiri Ministries International based in Malawi.

the pastor has a huge following, his Facebook page alone commanding almost a million followers.
The pastor has been in many controversial cases.
In February, the pastor was criticised for not delivering the much-anticipated miracles especially to the sick and disabled people who were among the masses who thronged in Sam Nujoma Stadium in Katutura, Namibia.
Some blamed him for taking all the money raised in the fundraising event of ECG and at the same time minister to the masses just like any other preacher or motivational speaker that has been invited to the country.
He also shot a video walking on air” that many claimed was heavily edited.

Politics / Dakuku Planned It, But It Never Worked... PDP Has The Simple Majority. by serioux(m): 9:18am On Aug 30, 2016
THE Rivers State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party has said that the tenure of the state Governor, Chief Nyesom Wike, is not under any threat of impeachment.

The state Publicity Secretary of the PDP, Mr. Samuel Nwanosike, said on Monday that the governor would serve his tenure, adding that the people of the state would continue to support his administration.

Nwanosike spoke in Port Harcourt while briefing newsmen, in reaction to a statement credited to the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress in the 2015 general election, Dr. Dakuku Peterside.

Peterside had predicted that the regime of the governor would soon come to an end, adding that the people could not be deceived with lies and propaganda, no matter how well crafted the lies were.

But Nwanosike explained that the state House of Assembly had majority of the PDP and wondered why Peterside, who is the Director-General of the Nigerian Maritime and Safety Agency, would make such a statement.

“Dakuku Peterside should know that the governor cannot be impeached because in the state House of Assembly, the PDP is in the majority. The issue of the governor’s regime coming to an end cannot come up.

“Governor Wike is using the resources at his disposal to develop the state and that is why he will continue to enjoy the support of the people. They can try as much as they can, they cannot do anything to Governor Wike,” the state PDP publicity secretary said.

He explained that there was no controversy surrounding the position of the state governor, since the Supreme Court had given its verdict in Wike favour.

“Rivers State is PDP. We have got up to the Supreme Court and we won. So, to say that Wike’s administration will soon come to an end does not make any meaning to us,” he added.

Reacting, the state Publicity Secretary of the APC, Mr. Chris Finebone, disagreed with Nwanosike, saying that Rivers remains an APC state.

He described the claim that the state belonged to the PDP as an empty talk, adding that the people of the state were aware of how the election was handled in the state.

“Rivers State is not PDP. People were saying Nigeria was PDP, until APC won. It is sheer empty talk to say that Rivers State is PDP. Rivers belongs to the APC and will remain APC,” Finebone said

Religion / Service Of Humility by serioux(m): 9:08pm On Aug 29, 2016
Humility is the root of all virtues. Humility gives u right estimate, and makes u real and authentic person. For sure I know Pride keeps man in sin, but humility brings repentance. Pride changed angels to devil/demons but humility makes men angels.
Humility excels virginity for virgins could be found in hell but not a humble soul. Humility is a sacrifice onto God and a humble and contrite heart, God never rejects.
In humility, we ar made disciples and in humility, the mercy of God abounds.
For every one who exalts himself this day will be humbled, and he who humbled himself will be exalted...
Humility is peace, love and kind... and for this reason we ar called to existence.
let your freedom be a blessing and not a curse....
