I pity some on you who were born 10 years ago, come up social media and spewing thrash in the name tribalism.
You think the Yorubas are cowards? I pity you.

Those who would never say these words are those who knew when the Yorubas arose to defend themselves, even in the era of General Sani Abacha's military regime...he knew what he faced.

Go and ask your elders questions about those times and stop being ignorant. Even many of your loud mouthed Igbo people fled Lagos State. Several Hausas fled Lagos State. Those who couldn't flee were in panic mode. Everybody collected their share back then.

Throughout the time/years that was ongoing, even government units people could not wear their uniforms to their outlets. Everywhere was hot and boiling. Even several Yorubas were in panic mode seeing what their ANGRY YORUBAS are wrecking. I don't really pray for such to repeat itself.

So let the sleeping lions lie!

That the Yorubas don't arise and cause violence or wrecking havoc does not mean they're cowards… they're only highly peaceful, technical, diplomatic, and calculative. But when you eventually pushed them to, you might get ripped.
Stop lieing shamelessly on a public forum!! Mention the incidents that proved Yorubas aren't cowards! Please mention dates!!
I'm not Igbo, but everyone knew the igbos held down the country in a civil war between 1967-1970. That act can not be done by cowards! There's evidence that igbos aren't cowards! Even those Hausa boys know they can't try this shi1t in the East! grin

If we react, Yoruba are violent
If we don't react, Yoruba are cowards

We allow them to prosper, Yoruba are lazy
We don't allow them, Yoruba are tribalistic

We don't protest, It's because their brother is president....

Christianity EtcRe: I Didn’t Say Christians Are Not Persecuted In Nigeria — Bishop Kukah by Sermwell(m): 3:42pm On Dec 11, 2025
nairalanda1:
Christians are not being persecuted in nigeria

Before you jump on me, what is happening is the following

1.Mob action by muslims when they feel someone abuses their religion

2.The usual clashes and displacement...which is also happening up North too..in muslim areas

3.And then everyday discrimination in say land issues (eg building church)

4.Finally people converting from islam to christianity...again provokes violence (and even islam to atheism)..and discrimination

But are christians being persecuted? The honest answer is no

1.There is no law forbidding the practice of christianity everywhere in nigeria. Churches are not being forcibly closed down...

2.Christian kids are not being taken away to be indoctrinated by force enmasse (as seen under the Ottoman turks)

3.No JIzya tax on christians...as far as we know, y'all paying the same tax

4. No large gulags where christians are forced into for hard labour (as seen in the old USSRand other communist countries)

5.No regulation of what christians are supposed to preach or speak in their chruches

6.Christian kids are not being forced to learn 'the religion of islam' in schools

7. No mass displacement of christians except in crisis areas (which happens in the North).

Anyone challenging me should point out if he knows of any law or any thing that forces christians to undergo the above.

Note that I am not saying there is no islamic plot to islamize Nigeria...note that every religion including christianity wants to spread (it's in the bible...go ye into the world..and preach the gospel)...nor am I denying violence against christians, but I am denying widespread persecution of christians.

I am also not saying that apc is doing well either. Security wise, things got worse under buhari and even worse under tinubu.

Finally, am not here to minimize anyone;s suffering. Peope are suffering. You can beleive there is no systemic persecution of christians, and you can also believe that Benue state is in a mess security wise.

Here is even proof that muslims can't persecute christians well enough. Buhari campaigned on sharia for all of Nigeria. He spent 8 good years in power and never even for once put a bill on the table making sharia the law of Nigeria...because he knew he won't get any support at all to amend the constitution to make it so. If we were persecuted, do ya think that buhari would have not just passed the rules without bothering about how christians feel?

INfact the sharia thing was initially proposed as a national thing...but because christians and non muslims protested, the compromise we have was thrashed out.

One more thing, muslims and christians in this country need to drop the self pity and start workling for the better of at least their community. After all you have politicans in both religions who form holy holy and do corruption, thus contributing to the messed up economy that makes it difficult to finance improved security ffs.

And why are christians so scared of muslims? If they have a god they claim is all powerful, why the heck cant they trust him? Instead they are worshipping trump. And America.
So they gave you this rubbish from your WhatsApp group and you sef collect am come post? grin cheesy Chai!

PoliticsRe: Adeleke: Remi Tinubu Speaks On The Drama In Osun State by Sermwell(m): 9:31am On Dec 10, 2025
Christlike01:
If you consider what Mrs. Tinubu did as disrespectful, then Governor Adeleke brought it upon himself. Truth be told, Adeleke doesn’t know how to comport himself in public. He is a governor, for crying out loud — why does he always like to present himself as an entertainer, a needless spectacle? Governor Adeleke’s public conduct lacks decorum; it is unbecoming of the office he occupies. There is a time and place for everything — a time to dance, a time to sing — and he should know when to get serious with the business of governance. Mr. Adeleke often comes across as an irresponsible and unserious person. If Mrs. Oluremi Tinubu actually disrespected him, then he deserves it.
The woman is a riffraff, simple!! Is it in her place to interrupt a sitting governor in that matter? Even the president would never think of doing what she did! This same woman had this same agbero behavior with Smart Adeyemi, Elisha Agbo, Dino Melaye and now a sitting governor. You guys have really taken this your asslicking to another whole new level!

Adeleke was one of those who was also not accepted to join. I do not know how Tinubu does it sha but one can tell that they are not coerced into joining.
Whether you believe it or not that's the case! The governors are pressured or blackmailed to join APC! But alot of them may pull of the rug off Tinubu's feet at the last minute!

You're only been emotional here even the writer was balanced in his report and his argument centered on public decorum. Public officials should know when to exercise restraint and conduct themselves in a respectful manner. Both the first lady and the governor have the share of the blame.
The first lady was absolutely wrong and there's nothing wrong with what the governor did. If the governor was singing Tinubu's on your mandate song, would she have stopped him?

You this Iwaburukueda boy get sense at all?.
