I've said it over and over again, the pressure in the Lagos Law School is extreme and something needs to be done about it. We had the exact thing happen in 2019. A guy jumped from the third floor or so.

The teaching methods in that particular campus is extremely toxic and psychologically damaging to the health of lawyers. You can't have students stay in class from morning to evening and expect them to go back to the hostel, freshen up and attend group discussions, then go back to their hostel to read on their own and assimilate the sheer volume of material required to pass in the short period before the day breaks again after which they're expected to repeat the process for 9 f##king months.

And now the chief henchman Odusote is the DG, they'll probably believe it is an affirmation that their methods work which is not.

This is nothing but the truth! I was a student there when Mrs Odusote was the DDG! She and all the lecturers like Dr Hameed, Mrs James, Prof Tijanni and that civil litigation lecturers almost made me take my life! I had gone to the hostel rooftop many times contemplating suicide.

When I was at the Lagos campus of law school, I had gone to the hostel rooftop c contemplating suicide because of the extreme pressure from long hours of lectures, group discussion and the fear to fail. I was just God and encouragement from my mum that saved me.

UNIBEN wanted to expel me because some useless cultist forced me to sit for constitutional law exam for them and I was caught!! I told my parents and my Dad refused to be part of it and said it's non of his business. My mum showed up in school all the way from Suleja, Niger state.
She demanded to see the VC but was refused access. My Mama just took off her wrapper and created a huge scene in front of the VC's office to the extent that the VC came out to attend to her. My mama claimed I was her only son and she had spent all her savings to send me to school. And that she will kill herself in from of the VC's office if I'm expelled. The VC then was a woman and was sympathetic to my mother's plight.....Long story short, I was issued a warning.

Today, I'm a lawyer and my mum is enjoying herself and traveling round the world for vacation and stuff!
