Hello nairaland! the above question has been a source of major concern to me over the years. Are black people really black or brown? and white people really white or pinkish in colour? Why is anything black associated with evil, death, aggression? why do we have black Friday, black Monday? Why is devil depicted as black and Angel, Jesus as white? Why do we wear black clothes to funerals? why do we have a white car on black tyres? How did we come about this name black for black people and white for white people? I can go on and on. Is this a deliberate attempt to suppress the black race and make us look inferior or what? I will appreciate your intelligent contributions guys....cheers
