The author made some valid points about the policies we are adopting to address the economic problems facing the country. I’ve argued severally on this forum that the CBN needs to adopt some crude tactics in tackling the forex and inflation problems.

Most of the bretton woods policies Cardoso is trying to implement are meant for normal countries with normal citizens. Nigeria is an absolutely abnormal country with extremely abnormal citizens. Fiscal and monetary authorities need to come up with a combination of crude and refined economic policies that are designed specifically to address the abnormalities of the country.

Rev Ubani also urged the governor to revert back to the free education system initiated by former Governor Orji Uzor Kalu from 1999-2007, saying: “What is happening now is largely a repeat of the things we have seen in the past. Governors coming to fight their predecessors by wasting money belonging to the people in unnecessary media wars.

“I am yet to see any major difference. He has refused to make budget of his projects open for scrutiny. The only one we saw—which is the Aba-Portharcourt road looks expensive at N32billion for a 6km road. We do not know what is happening in our council areas, even though he promised to run a very transparent government.

If the above was said by some of us, they will call us hateful Agbadorian. Good enough, some sensible people in Abia state are now speaking uo against the propaganda regime of Alex Otti. This is exactly how they wore Peter Obi with a borrowed robe of competence even though he exhibited absolutely no competence when he was governor of Anambra state.

Binance is still operating in Nigeria. I still use the Ninande app a few minutes ago. USDT/NGN is what will get delisted as a result of manipulation by users. You can still trade other crypto through the app.

Seun:
When I started Nairaland, I operated it all by myself, but by 2007 I was overwhelmed. Mukina2 swooped in and volunteered to be a super-moderator. She also helped me to recruit section moderators. This enabled us to move forward. Initially, she worked for free, but over time she became a paid supermod. One of the best.

Last month, I gave her a particular instruction which is the most basic instruction you can give a moderator. Clean up ALL the sections you've been assigned to and report to me after EACH one. She steadfastly refused until the month end. She felt that she was doing her job and there was therefore no need for me to tell her what to do.

I insisted that she must choose between resigning and following this particular instruction. She eventually chose to resign, saying "let's go our separate ways". We will miss her a lot. I will miss her a lot. I wish her the best in all her future endeavours. She will do great. She may return if she changes her mind, but the show must go on.

We don’t need the details. Just inform us that she has resigned and that’s all. Now, we are going to be at the mercy of nlfpmod who will push only anti-Tinubu propaganda news to front page.

If Nigeria continues with this APC in power for some more time, the country and the youth will have been badly degraded, the apc is a danger to this country, imagine the quality of their youth as brainless as their leaders, they are always looking at issues from ethnic lens instead of from truth lense, that is why their party cannot deliver good governance, they don't have sound people
Rhodes vivour was actually right if they take time to do their research but they always wait for signals on what to say
Gbadebo was referring to the red line running on the standard gauge, that was done by Jonathan, the lagos government only built stations along it and plaçe rolling stocks

The red line was not built on any FG standard gauge. The FG standard gauge you’re talking about is controlled by Nigeria railway corporation. The red line is a new standard gauge constructed from scratch to finish by the Sanwo Old administration.

Should she remove Akeredolu as her surname too

She should just mourn her husband in peace and let the governor be. Calling people abusive names for supporting the governor is stupid.

What has Funke done wrong? She should join Betty in fighting the governor or what? What exactly is Betty's interest in Ondo state politics? Shouldn't she be mourning her husband's death instead of fighting the governor?

Dear Betty,

Your husband is dead and your link to Ondo state politics is over. If you are still interested in politics, go back to Imo state and hustle with your people. Leave Ondo state politics alone for the people of Ondo state. You had your time and it's over. This is Lucky's time. Let the governor of Ondo state be.

nairalanda1:

Well , the refinery was not completed because Nigerians like you opposed subsidy removal

Gej agreed with you and removed subsidy.

As a result, refineries like the oriental refinery could not operate or get investors because at the end , subsidy means they sell at a loss and they lose money.

Now your party has been forced by the debt incurred by keeping subsidy into a partial removal. Up till now they refuse to do full removal

The thing about forcing businesses to operate at a loss, it drives away investment.

Yes, pdp messed up, but your party by keeping subsides is driving away investment in domestic refining, and putting private refineries at risk of failure.

Better face reality and stop the mockery

You go fear excuse 🤣🤣🤣
