I've known her for a couple of years now, so one day, I was going to the mainland, and I saw her on the way, waiting for public transport, so I picked her up. Normally we been don bang a couple of times in the past, no strings attached tho. So I dropped her at CMS and continued on my journey. When I was about to start heading home, I decided to check up on her if she was done, so I could pick her up, and we head home together, since it was about to rain.

I picked her up, and on the way, with my glass wound up, she said she wanted to fart. I thought she was joking o, and I just laughed, but before I know, she released one big bomb.

I was not happy. I don't have a problem with farting, but I have a problem with someone intentionally farting in the presence of others. I see it as very disgusting, and I'll start seeing the person as a dirty person. I asked her not to do it again, but when we got to around Ikate, she released another one. At that point, I was angry but just endured it.

Gave her a break of more than 3 months. When we finally started conversing well again, she visited me one day, and in a space of like 3 hours, she farted like 8 times. We had issues that day; she apologized. Some days later, I visited her; the girl just dey mess anyhow. I left the house that day.

The one that broke the camel's back was when she recorded her fart as a voice note and sent it to me. I just save the voice note, use am as sound for her picture, come upload am on my WhatsApp status. She was very embarrassed because we had mutual friends. She was angry at me for some time, but then I told her if she could fart anyhow in another person's presence, then I'm only helping her to increase her farting reach so people will be shocked at how talented this pretty, light-skinned beauty is.

I no send sha, my feelings for her died already.

There was a day she was at my place; we were watching a movie. She farted twice; I just carry myself go inside bedroom and left her in the parlor. She started apologizing and was running out every 5 minutes to fart. I kuku told her to go to the hospital o, this her own don pass normal.


My girlfriend of 4 years has never intentionally farted in my presence after the first time she did it and saw how angry I was. She said her dad too detests it, so if she wants to fart, she excuses herself, except she's sleeping sha, which is understandable.

There was another girl, this one we dey date sef, but she was just concerned with taking; never gave anything in the almost 1 year we dated.

She was always quick to ask for help almost every day.

On her birthday, I sent her money and planned to take her out that day, but she had other plans with family, so we postponed.

She came to my DM asking what color of senator I don't have. I thought about it and, surprisingly, didn't have black, so I told her. A few weeks later, nothing. She now messaged me saying the tailor traveled, but when he comes, she will collect it and give me; as we speak, I still never see anything.

Another one: we were supposed to go out that day briefly before she goes to work later in the day, but she told me she needed to run some errands for her grandma, so I left it.

A few days later, she sent me a WhatsApp message screenshot, and her wallpaper was her and a guy snapping a mirror selfie. Normally, it was an open relationship that time, so I no bother but when she came to my house, I checked the date the picture was taken, it was the exact day she said she was running an errand for her grand ma, so I confronted her and she confessed, the guy was asking her out, bla bla, I told her no wahala, I'm not angry, I just don't like her lying to me, she said she didn't like the guy and was gonna ask him to stop pressing her, me I sabi the lamba but I played along. I sha asked her to buy shawarma at least to apologize, cos she must pay for the lie; that shawarma till today, na one story or another, more than 6 months later.

Wetin come vex me las las was when I suddenly stopped seeing her WhatsApp DP; I asked her why? She said there was no DP there; she removed it. I said okay na. 3 months later, while chatting one day, I jokingly asked her when she was gonna let me see her DP again, and I kid you not, she totally forgot she blocked me, so when she unblocked me and I started seeing the DP again, I asked her why she lied that there was no DP? She said she didn't lie, that she never said so. Thankfully, she was the one who changed phones, but I had all our chats, so I went and quoted the chat from 3 months back. Suddenly, the story changed; it became 'she was angry at me during that period'. I went back to read the chats and send to her. We were cool during that period, so which anger? She couldn't explain; her reply was, 'Are you tired of me and this relationship?'

I said, 'Imagine!' Her next line was, 'I'm sleepy, goodnight,' and off she went.

That was the last time I looked at her chat again. She came back the next morning apologizing, and all, but omo, Open relationship was sweet; you had the freedom to do what you want, but lying anyhow na wetin I no fit take.

The banging and all was good, but I cherish honesty more; that was why I told her from the onset that I didn't want commitment.

That was years back sha. So in summary, in almost 1 year, I never chop that girl 1 naira.

I am a proud Igbo entrepreneur and small company owner and I am a graduate, a postgraduate and also a PhD inview student so when it comes to education, you are far below me. I have also acquired various short business trainings and courses and will be starting an MBA program with a specialization in global trade and economics by 2028 God willing. I have done a lot of short courses on business management, sales and marketing, including digital marketing.


And it's not only me, most other Igbo business associates I know are all graduates and some already have masters even from foreign universities. Gone are the days you can brag that it's only Yorubas that went to school, maybe in the 1950s, not anymore cos we Igbos now make it a top priority to acquire graduate education even if we want to major on business and trading.
