Congratulations bro, please what was your overall CGPA in your first and second degree? and also how were you able to secure the scholarship, as I intend also applying for a PhD program
Hi. I’m really sorry about this coming later.
A Second class upper in the first.
A Merit in the second.

My Masters was way better and very close to a distinction. No C’s. All A’s and B’s.

From my experience, rather than what your GP is, they want to see what you got in the relevant courses, and that’s why they ask for your transcript.

Please I noticed that most applicants here use universities instead of college. I have BSC from Nigeria and got I20 for Associate degree at portland community college.

Is using a college a red flag ?
Does the VO check academic progression ?.

Should I continue with the sevis payment and visa application ?
No, it is not a red flag.
Colleges are basically smaller forms of universities

Please, anyone here who got their visa even though their passport isn't valid throughout the duration of their program? I need to know whether I have to renew my passport since the US travel website states the passport must be valid throughout the duration of the program.
Yes, you can get the visa. You will need to renew later.

Please does anyone know if any not fully vaccinated person was able to fly from Nigeria this week? There is supposed to be an exemption for F1 visa holders from certain countries which includes Nigeria.

Thank you
