And it is the only two we need for the foreseeable future since our politics is not one based on ideology, fundamental distinctions cannot be made. It will swing between both parties and hopefully that oscillation will produce good governance over time. However the basic problem besetting this country is not one of politicians or political parties, but of the way the country is setup. The foundation is faulty so building anything of political value is just fraught with dangers and disappointment. Change the game, not the players. Buhari maybe just be a miniscule cause of the problems we face as a nation but his removal and that of his party is not the solution because our problems run deeper and any new leader or party cannot fundamentally change the fortunes of Nigeria.

The foundation is faulty. What we need is true federalism where each federating unit is in control of its resources and then contributes to the centre like being practiced in US.

If we practice that, Nigeria will be a contender for superpower in 20 years time.

Stop being idealistic. In Nigeria today, there are only 2 parties, PDP or APC. Whether or not you align with either of them, you are stuck with them for the nearest future
