SportsRe: Nigeria defeat Senegal to win Afro basketball Female Nations Cup by seyi70: 6:35am On Aug 19, 2019
Yeah, you are correct, I knew about the lady, I just forgot momentarily, but she has already represented the USA at the youth level, she will probably end up representing the US, the best of them do. You could say the same for Nneka and Chiney Ogwumike, WNBA players of Ibo descent representing the US. On a serious note, Yorubas in the diaspora don't generally emphasize on participation in sports.

There are Some Yoruba women Basketball players in USA and they are doing really great

They are just not being call to the National Team or maybe they are not interested in playing for Nigeria

Check out the Video of that woman

Probably they were crying cos they got whooped twice in consecutive finals hehehehe
somehow:
You saw them crying as if they would have won na.

But the atmosphere was like that of NBA. filled to the brim. Africa is getting more interested in basketball.

Hell no, they dare not say that, they got their ass kicked on home soil despite our poor free-throw shooting
somehow:
I already did that but not interested in letting these obvious issues slide.

All the same, we beat Senegal again which is sweet to the ear.

We have played against better pressure before, so wouldn't take pressure as an excuse. This issue has been on from the start, just imagine doing at least 35% of the 3PTA and 75% of the FTA, Senegal for humble. Now dem go dey say we won by luck due to the closeness.

You are probably right, they should be praised, but they got to be scolded to, the girls shot abysmally from the free-throw line, they need to be toughened up mentally. This match shows how much Nigeria is ahead of the rest at the moment- Winning, despite shooting poorly from the free-throw line
isaiah9:
why not praise them first. Do you know the amount of pressure in that arena? Even the best teams in the world (USA and Australia) didn't beat us black and blue.

The Crowd is obviously dumbing down their enthusiasm, although, below expectation, we are still in the lead
