Vocational qualification: Digital information on professional qualifications (DAB)

If you hold a foreign professional qualification and come from a third country, you can apply for a digital statement of professional qualifications from the ZAB (Federal Office for Employment and Social Affairs ). The ZAB will check and confirm whether certain criteria for the Opportunity Card are met. You can use the DAB as proof of your professional qualification when applying for the Opportunity Card.

you pay 160 euro for the document. you need your HND and trascript to apply.

Please do you upload both OND and HND? Or only the HND certificate and transcripts? I'm currently planning to verify my HND in statistics as well. If it comes out positive so there's no need for test of English? Your input is highly require since we're on the same pathway please ( HND/vocational). Thanks a lot.

Yes I am not talking about recognition by a professional body, just the evaluation that you did for the HND through ZAB. I just want to know if it was accepted as a vocational training, that's all.

Also, to answer your question, you don't need professional recognition for your field. The ZAB is enough.

The document only validate the vocational training. Recognition is done by professional body.

I have HND and I have done Statement on Foreign Vocational Qualification from ZAB. Will I be rated as a skilled worker? Do I still need to do recognition. I have HND in computer science.
