A Cooperative Society in Port Harcourt is urgently recruiting for the position of a Business Development Officer.

The ideal candidate must:

1). Be resident in Portharcourt.
2). Possess a minimum of HND or BSc degree.
3). Possess 3-5 years experience in a similar role.
4). He/she must have a good accounting background to prepare bank reconciliation.

Your key role and responsibilities are:

1). Prepare documentations/proposals for investments [liquidation, disposal, sale, etc.] and execute such plan[s].

2). Track and monitor the performance of all loans disbursed to members, remind members when loans are due, identify and implement conversions according to provided guidelines.

3). Review and reconcile schedules sent to and received from payroll to identify and balance discrepancies [if any].

4). Track and report interests accrued and received on all loans to members.

5). Monthly reporting of all loan disbursed to members.

6). Monthly reporting of telecoms bills and payments due to the service providers.

7). Calculate and post accrued interest on members’ savings according to provided guideline[s].

. Adhere to all Quality, Health, Safety and Environment rules and guidelines as proscribed by the parent company.

And any other responsibilities which the applicant may be saddled with.
