Howdy. Regarding saqa, my case was a strange one, twas after I was done with the application process I got to know I had to use saqa so I just left it that way. When I got the admission letter engineering department and one other did their qualifications themselves in the school however if you wanna get it done you'd have to go through the saqa's site or I'd advice you call the department first considering yours is a phd option. so I have filled an online application at Pretoria but having problems with the online payment... don't know if it's because I am using my phone. It just won't proceed to the part where I put my card details. Did you face this problem?

Thank you, the tuition fees!! Well it depends what you call high but considering what we have around they are, between 30-40k rand. And Yes by the special grace of God I should. Try them out and moreover you might get grants/bursary when you get over there. Best of luck!!!

Okay. Masters programme in mech. Engr. I actually just got the admission but currently trying to source for scholarship, grants or any form of funding, and aspa when the next session start, it starts january but I'm sure for phd you can apply and start anytime I think. You are welcomed.

What field are you into? University of Pretoria is much easier to apply to, they request for soft copies rather than hard copies. Why don't you check them out. www.up.ac.za

They accept mastercards, during my application process to uni pretoria I used a GTB mastercard and it worked perfectly. Give it a try

My dear both started receiving application since March, though Cape Town is still on but can't say for Pretoria, and as for the MasterCard scholarship, Pretoria deadline was September 15th.

It is true that some schools don't request for SAQA before offering admission to students. However, it forms part of the requirements for SA visa application. Since it was expressly stated in your admission letter, you should be able to do so without SAQA.

To play safe, i will advise that you find time to visit the embassy to know if they can allow you to submit without it. That will save you from last minute stress and hassles.

It depends on your purpose for travelling to SA. If you intend visiting, I will advise you just visit and come back to Naija. For studies, you stand a better chance of getting a job after studies but generally, SA is tough to be honest with you. My advice is that you have a clear plan of what you intend to do in SA before venturing into any form of application. I wish u the best.

The funny thing is have been hearing so much about this SAQA but I gained admission without using it, when I got my admission letter from the school it was stated clearly my department and one other didn't require SAQA's evaluation. What I really want to know now is, when I'm applying for a visa should I still get the SAQA done before applying when it was stated in my admission letter that it isn't needed? Thanks bro

there is no center in abuja. the north as a zone wrote in kaduna. Abuja is under the northern zone. but the interview for the north I.e those that wrote in kaduna will be in Abuja
