Such a sad situation.

Please how did you go about withdrawing your visa application? I'll appreciate if you can share the process please. Cos this is looking like an option at this time.
Also, does withdrawal not affect your ability to request for school fees refund?
But this is pure rubbish, they haven't upgraded at all. The UK gets more applications than them and it doesn't take them more than 4 weeks at most... What exactly is their problem?? At this point, I feel they just want to hold on to the rest of us application so people can withdraw their application or they have reasons to deny them

And also, they said details on deferring will be communicated later and I haven't seen anything since then
Tomorrow will make it my ninth week, I should have submitted my application since March at this point seff
1. School should give you deadline to resume.
2. if the visa decision is approved before the deadline, then travel to Ireland
3. if the visa decision comes say 1 week after deadline, email the school to let them know and if they can give you grace since its just 1 week past...They should allow you to join classes online for now.
4. If school is deferring they would have sent a letter
5. Embassy may ask for that letter, if they do, then send to them and there would be no other option but wait till January
[/

That's true, the only thing that can help me is getting my visa approved next week so I can appeal to school, but what if my school only does September intake?

Amen o. A very big and loud AMEN🙏🏽

Is it that people get messages the Friday before they release list on Monday or when the list is released then they send messages?

I think decisions are usually sent out on Wednesdays

This group has been quite quiet lately, and I sense that our spirits are low. Has anyone received any feedback from the embassy? I've heard the same thing this week: "It's still in queue for processing." My school resumed on the 22nd, and I'm trying to stay as positive as possible, but it's difficult. I feel like my life is on hold; I can't do anything because I'm waiting for a decision to be made. I really don't like how this situation has put so much of my life on pause.

Sending a virtual hug to everyone in the same predicament as I am. I pray that the outcome of this waiting period will be favorable. 🙏
It's not easy fr, I got a mail from school today telling me to defer my admission till next year

Hello everyone, please if my visa decision is still pending and school already asked me defer my admission, what do I do?
Also what if my visa was later approved? What do I do?

The embassy asked you if you were given a grace period? When did you do your biometrics?
I'm also surprised
The only mail they have been sending is "still in queue for processing"

I used my driver’s license to complete the registration.
Please I'm confused about something
Hope the ID-pal verification isn't the one delaying some of us?
Is it mandatory to register on ID-pal before a decision is made?
Because I've just been thinking if there's something I didn't do right

In a situation where my family can't sponsor me financially, but I've someone who can carter for my expenses. What should I do?
You have to provide enough proof and even affidavit if possible just to show evidence...
