I'd rather be a storyteller who warns people than an observer who sits back, does nothing, and calls a crime scene a fairy tale. I don't usually post, but I felt it was important to share this update regarding the current security situation to keep everyone informed and aware. Also, I shared this with my colleagues this morning, and one of them confirmed hearing about last night’s incident in Woji. He noted that a similar situation happened to his friend’s wife at the Woji-Alcon road flyover some years back. Interesting fiction story |
The car that was ambushed looked like an ES 350 2018 model. Everything happened so fast kpankpangolo: |
At approximately 9:44pm today 15/04/2026, during heavy rainfall, I observed a targeted vehicle interception (carjacking) at Woji Junction. Sequence of Events: Interception: Amidst the rain, a high-end vehicle was forcibly blocked at the junction by a Lexus RX300. At least 3 individuals armed with firearms exited a Lexus RX300 and immediately surrounded the target vehicle. Mind you, the keke I was in passed immediately after the interception and the keke driver moved a bit and stopped to know what was going on since it's his regular route. Few seconds later, the assailants fired two shots. The resulting panic caused everyone in the vicinity, even our keke man had to move immediately for safety. Meanwhile, one of the passengers asked the keke man why he parked sef. Whether him wan go help the people? Safety Advisory: This incident is a sobering reminder that criminals are active even in poor weather conditions. I urge everyone to remain extremely vigilant and conscious of their surroundings at all times. Please consider the following safety measures: 1. Monitor Your Rear: Consistently watch your side mirrors to identify if any vehicle has been trailing you for an unusual distance. 2. Be Mindful of Junctions: Stay alert at busy intersections and keep enough space between your car and the one in front to allow for an emergency exit if blocked. 3. Avoid Isolated Routes: Whenever possible, avoid driving through lonely or deserted areas, especially at night or in bad weather. 4. Maintain Speed in High-Risk Areas: If you must pass through areas known for low traffic or security concerns, keep your speed up and avoid unnecessary stops. Please prioritize your safety above all else. If you notice any vehicle behaving suspiciously or following you, head immediately toward a well-lit, populated area, a police station, or a secure public facility. It's my first time witnessing this 😢 Please give your thoughts on this. |
