Federal University of Tech, Yola is no more Specialised
The Senate passed for the second reading last year to remove the Specialised status of ATBU. They have a teaching hospital but no College of Medicine or Medical Sciences Dept or Courses.

Can you remain a Specialised Univ and don't offer Medical Courses to produce graduates who will work on the Medical College?
Federal Univ of Tech, Yola started like that.
Today, FUTY (MAU) houses a Univ Teaching Hospital.
Today, they are Conventional. Once FMC eventually leaves finally, they will be restricted on certain courses unless they turn Conventional. ATBU is undergoing that process now.

The essence of Conversion is that is so that the University will have her own Teaching Hospital.

It's now Federal University Teaching Hospital. It is to pave way for FUTO to one day become a Conventional University. Uzodinma has done well with his collaboration with the FG. He is also responsible for the conversion of Alvan to a Federal University of Education. Pushing it to Okigwe is also a good one.
It's always a challenge financially for the FG to start afresh, not just in hospitals, in higher institutions as well.

I think, men are loosing confident day by day to approach women for relationship, in recent times, no thanks to independence of several ladies now, unlike before.
Sometimes it's just to avoid unnecessary expenses expecially when you remember you have some ongoing projects that still need much funds

Every nation supports the best businesses that support the country workforce and also generate revenue.

What leveled playing ground are we talking about here? That the government should give every Nigeria a billion dollars for start up?

It doesn’t work that way. In any country, big businesses are ALWAYS supported in various forms through low interest loans, tax exemptions and even direct investment.

Let me use the crude oil refining licenses as a case study. If I am. It wrong, over 10 licenses were issued and less than 3 hit the ground. Do we call those 3 monopolist since others could not?

Nothing like the government is creating monopolist. Nigeria is doing same thing every government in the world does.

China does not support all the businesses in its country but heavily invested on the front runners like Huawei, BYD and ByteDance.

Yes, creating enabling environment is a valid point, but supporting and creating a leveled playing ground for ALL businesses to thrive is outrightly impossible.

Mr. A who needs one million Naira loan and employs 10 people cannot have same interest and tax exemptions like Mr. B who needs one billion dollars and employs a thousand hands.

There is no leveled playing grounds anywhere on Earth.

A PhD holder lecturing in a Nigerian university doesn't even earn up to 500k. So they should cut him some slack.

I suspect this is causes by economy of scale due to low population/ patronage in the state gas market, that state's ease of doing business and arbitrary local tax imposition.

But for these reasons, a states like Kano , Rivers and Akwa Ibom with huge population and Imo with huge gas deposits but low population have no business being on that list.
