RomanceRe: Long Distance R/ship by Shari8581(f): 5:04am On Apr 12, 2010
It really depends on the situation. I met my fiance here in the U.S (He is Yoruba and i'm a Black Yankee smiley. He had to go back to Lagos for a few months to help out in a family situation. However, he knew that I was not going to wait around forever so we placed a time limit. He was able to do the best he could do to help his family out and when the time came, he came back to New York. My best advice to ask yourself if you see longterm plans with this man. If you just like him and really don't see anything in the longterm then let him go. If you do see and have discussed long term plans then place a time limit on it. They can work but it depends on the intentions.
RomanceRe: Relationships: Loving Someone Who Doesn't Love You Back As Much by Shari8581(f): 4:59am On Apr 12, 2010
Is it possible he has love for you but perhaps he's not in love with you? Big difference. If this is the case I would honestly reevaluate your relationship. At the end you don't want to have that " I gave my all to him and i'm drained" feeling.
TravelRe: General U.S.A (student) Visa Enquiries by Shari8581(f): 4:35am On Apr 12, 2010
Being a Yankee raised and born in the U.S, I can tell you that it's pretty tough getting a visa here. If you are looking for a student visa, try to contact the schools and stay in constant communication with the Admissions Department. If you get in good with a person from the Admissions Department they may be able to expediate the visa process given you have all the requirements (money for tuition, immunizations, and transcripts). As someone mentioned before Community Colleges are the cheapest and probably the easiest to get into~

If you are looking for a tourist/visitor visa the lottery is your best bet!
