How nice debopeola: Unboxing my realme Note 50 experience.
We have been talking about the amazing features and qualities of the realme Note 50 and I just remembered I have not talked about what is in the box and my experience so far.
When I got my realme Note 50 I was so eager to unbox it, as I wanted to try out the cool features. Upon getting home, the first thing I did was to take out the yellow box of the realme Note 50.
The package comes with a manual guide to using the phone and the phone details written in different languages. Then we have the pin to which you can open the sim slot at ease. After which comes the phone wrap in a light white nylon, inside the box, we have the charger hop, cord and the phone case. And yes it doesn't comes with an earpiece.
Although I did an unboxing video and share with everyone, I haven't talked about my experience so far. Basically since I got the phone I use it for my livestreaming app, play games, take pictures and use the social media app such as Facebook and WhatsApp.
My experience so far has been amazing. I love the display setting, how I can easily move from one app to another. The phone was logically faster than my brain 😂.
I took some pictures and I was surprised, I had to reconfirm the MP again to be sure because what I got was far better than phone with 32-50MP of camera.
The phone chargers fast and the battery is durable and last long. While not in use, the percentage doesn't drop for as long as possible. I get to charge my phone just once a day while using the phone to do all these stuff.
To cut it short, a student or someone with low budget can get this phone. It's so cool to use. |

Phones › Re: Realme C61 Detailed Review by Shawn29(m): 7:30pm On Mar 15, 2025 |
For a low budget device, this still packs alot i recommend it SkillfulHelper: The Realme C61 is a budget-friendly smartphone aimed at users looking for durability, decent performance, and a long-lasting battery. It offers some attractive features like IP54 water and dust resistance, a large 6.74-inch 90Hz display, and a 5000mAh battery, but also has its limitations, particularly in the camera and processor departments. Below is an in-depth review, including its pros and cons, strengths and weaknesses, and a final verdict on whether it's a good purchase.
Pros and Cons of the Realme C61 ✅ Pros Durability – With an IP54 rating (dust and water resistance) and a reinforced anti-drop body, the C61 is more durable than most budget phones. Large Display – The 6.74-inch IPS LCD panel with a 90Hz refresh rate offers smooth scrolling and decent visuals. Long Battery Life – The 5000mAh battery easily lasts 1.5 to 2 days on normal use. Fast Charging – Supports 15W fast charging, though not the fastest, it’s still decent for this price range. Expandable Storage – Has a dedicated microSD card slot that allows storage expansion. Side-Mounted Fingerprint Sensor – Offers quick and secure unlocking. Clean UI (Realme UI T Edition) – Minimal bloatware and user-friendly interface. ❌ Cons Basic Camera Setup – The 50MP rear camera is decent in good lighting but struggles in low-light conditions. The 5MP front camera is quite basic. Entry-Level Processor – Uses the Unisoc Tiger T612, which is okay for light usage but not great for gaming or multitasking. No Full HD+ Resolution – The display is only HD+ (720 x 1600 pixels) instead of Full HD+, so it’s not as sharp. No Ultra-Wide or Extra Camera Sensors – Only has a single 50MP sensor on the back with no ultra-wide or macro lenses. No AMOLED Display – Unlike some competitors, it lacks an AMOLED screen for richer colors and deeper blacks. Limited Software Updates – Being a budget phone, it may not receive long-term software updates. No 5G Support – Limited to 4G networks, which is fine for now but not future-proof. Strengths and Weaknesses of the Realme C61 🔥 Strengths ✔ Battery Life – The 5000mAh battery provides outstanding endurance, making it ideal for heavy users. ✔ Durability – IP54 rating and anti-drop protection make it more rugged than most budget phones. ✔ Smooth Display – The 90Hz refresh rate ensures smoother scrolling compared to the standard 60Hz screens. ✔ Expandable Storage – Supports microSD cards up to 1TB, a major plus for storage-hungry users. ✔ Affordable Pricing – Offers good value for money, making it accessible to budget-conscious buyers.
⚠ Weaknesses ❌ Performance Limitations – The Unisoc T612 processor struggles with gaming and multitasking. ❌ Average Cameras – The 50MP camera is decent, but low-light performance is weak and the 5MP selfie camera is underwhelming. ❌ No Stereo Speakers – Lacks dual speakers, so audio is not as immersive. ❌ Software Support – Likely won't receive major Android updates for long.
Overall Verdict: Is the Realme C61 Worth Buying? The Realme C61 is a solid choice for users looking for an affordable, durable smartphone with long battery life. It is ideal for basic users, students, and people who prioritize battery and display smoothness over performance. However, if you need strong gaming performance, high-end cameras, or long-term software updates, you may need to consider alternatives like the Redmi 12C, Samsung Galaxy A04s, or Infinix Zero 20.
Who Should Buy the Realme C61? ✅ Casual users who need a basic, reliable phone. ✅ Students who want a long-lasting battery and a large screen for browsing and studying. ✅ People on a budget who want good durability (IP54) and a decent screen.
Who Should Avoid the Realme C61? ❌ Gamers and Power Users – The Unisoc T612 processor is not powerful enough for demanding tasks. ❌ Photography Enthusiasts – The camera is not strong in low-light conditions. ❌ People Looking for Long-Term Updates – Software updates are limited.
Final Rating: 7.5/10 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐✨ ✔ Best For: Battery life, durability, affordability. ❌ Not Ideal For: Gaming, photography, long-term software support.
If you just need a basic, durable phone with a good screen and battery, the Realme C61 is a good buy. But if you want better cameras, performance, or software support, you should explore other options.

Phones › Re: The Ultimate Budget Showdown: Tecno Spark 30C Vs Realme C61 by Shawn29(m): 7:24pm On Mar 15, 2025 |
Realme is up there, it doesn't lack anything Kim4Christ: Are you on the hunt for a budget smartphone that packs a punch? Look no further! We've got two contenders vying for the top spot: the Tecno Spark 30C and the Realme C61. Both phones offer impressive features at affordable prices, but which one should you choose? Let’s dive in
The Battle for Display Supremacy: The Tecno Spark 30C takes the lead with its stunning 90Hz refresh rate and Full HD+ resolution display. Scrolling and media consumption have never been smoother! On the other hand, the Realme C61's 60Hz refresh rate and HD+ resolution display feel a bit lackluster in comparison.
Performance: A Close Call: Both phones are powered by entry-level chips – the Helio G37 in the Tecno and the Unisoc T606 in the Realme. While neither phone excels in heavy multitasking or gaming, the Tecno Spark 30C might have a slight edge in performance. However, the difference is minimal, and you'll hardly notice it in everyday use.
Camera: A Tale of Two Sensors: The Realme C61 steals the show with its impressive 50MP primary camera, delivering sharper daylight shots than the Tecno Spark 30C's 13MP camera. However, both phones struggle in low-light conditions, and the Realme's lack of optical image stabilization (OIS) means you might not get the steadiest shots.
Battery Life: A Tie: Both phones boast a massive 5,000mAh battery, ensuring you'll get all-day performance without needing to top up. However, the Tecno Spark 30C has a faster 18W charging speed, while the Realme C61 is limited to 10W charging.
Software: A Matter of Taste: The Tecno Spark 30C runs on HiOS, which offers extensive customization options but can feel cluttered due to bloatware. On the other hand, the Realme C61 runs Realme UI Go Edition, a more streamlined and lighter interface that's perfect for those who prefer simplicity.
The Verdict: So, which phone should you choose? If you prioritize a smoother display with a 90Hz refresh rate and faster charging, the Tecno Spark 30C is the way to go. However, if you're looking for a better camera with a 50MP sensor and a simpler software experience, the Realme C61 is the better choice.
Ultimately, the decision comes down to your individual needs and preferences. Do you want a phone that excels in display smoothness and charging speed, or one that offers a better camera and simpler software? The choice is yours!
Rating
Tecno Spark 30C: 4.1/5
Realme C61: 4.0/5

- How's the battery life? - How's the camera quality? - Is the performance smooth and lag-free? - Are there any notable features or innovations? - How's the build quality and design?
I've seen some reviews online, but I'd rather hear from real people who have used the phone. Your honest opinions will really help me make a decision.
Thanks in advance for your responses!
PS: I'm looking for a phone that's budget-friendly, but still offers good performance and features. The realme C61 seems to fit the bill, but I want to make sure it's the right choice for me. |
