teeo: My fear with nlng is the discrimination between HND and university graduates, no matter how hi the pay is for now. I wouldn't like to work in a place where I won't have a rapid growth because of my HND, someone might say get a pgd,am woworking on that but nevertheless it seems the disparity between the two is always emphasized in NLNG. Degree holders are employed with a higher class. Am just saying my thoughts cause am considering two federal jobs.

Do not get scared bro. God can facilitate your promotion in any firm u find yourself if you have his favour. Doesn't matter if we are starting with HND in NLNG. What we should keep praying for is the blessings of God. Only then we can find it easy to get to the top. My God is more than able to perfect all that concerns me. And I don't give a damn about the comparison because have got a speedy God!

The outcome of the interview should be out before Dec. 2013. Ours might not be up to that four month. When I did the calculations of the recruitment in 2009, it lasted for a period of 8month(sep-april). And ours started from March and hopefully it will end around Dec. 2013. Am only basing my guess on the previous recruitment. Wish u all success while waiting. God will put a smile on our face. Amen.

It's now 3weeks. Lord let your will be done and I plead for your mercy to grant us success. Amen.

The elementary part of your field I guess. And still try to glance through other fields oo. U nvr can tell.

A report from someone that is done with his own. He was ask questions on distillation, valve, cavitation and thermodynamic properties. The basic understanding of it all.

To those having theirs today, wish u all success. And plz make sure u give us a slight info of how it went.

Advice for all nlng hopefulls...
Grab ur past notes and rip them apart.
Get company related documents, files and other materials and browse through them.
Know the role of the operator, safety rules, bla bla bla bla
study industrial processes, machines, and other related devices. Eg pumps, compressors, etc. very well.
Expect a panel interview.
They have more than enough questions.
Pray hard.
Be optimistic. NLNG has a reputation of being transparent in its recruitment.

dirtymoney: for those who would be taking the total test in port harcourt. I have very helpful materials for the nlng interview. Am taking my test on the 8th by 1pm. U cn wear a name tag. And come with a computer, cuz d materials are in my flash. Best of of luck to we all. For those who quoted my previous post, kindly edit it. I apologise for making such utterance.
