I just now spotted this kind response you have provided. Your last point refers to a very strange law indeed, because it implies that one cannot send a car outside Nigeria with the intention of selling it, or driving it, outside Nigeria, meaning that such a vehicle CANNOT be kept permanently outside Nigeria. I can see now that for me, there is effectively no means of shipping a car out of Nigeria, at least with the current laws on the books in Nigeria.

yes a car can be shipped from Nigeria to USA without damage. if you containerised it, it would be more secure. If it is RORO, depends on the monitoring given as if you will follow the car along, it won't get vandalised at the port nor in the cargo bay. Most of the theft happens in nigeria holding area.

I can't give a face value of the shipping cost as I have never shipped stuff out of nigeria, I only have a working idea of agricultural produce (snail) that's what my father inlaw ships abroad

you should be looking at maximum 4weeks from naija to US.
