Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Is Not Giving Employees Public Holidays Modern Slavery? by Shegs12345(m): 6:24pm On May 27
Hambivert:
If the firm forces her workers to work on public holidays without paying them overtime allowances, then that's slavery.
All businesses can't shutdown during public holidays, the economy may crumble. Imagine all hospitals and Pharmacies sparogatively going on public holidays.
Anyways, Nigerian government need to set up a board to regulate and checkmate businesses run by Lebanese, Indians, Koreans, and Chinese. Those foreigners often treat their Nigerian workers like low budget slaves, yet pay them peanuts as salary. It's like they all studied how to be modern day slave masters in their countries and passed with distinctions.
The worst part is that they even make their Nigerian workers call them "Master"
...see Slave, see Master.

They dont need to set up boards because, we already have boards meant to checkmate companies that abuse their workers right but they are not doing anythin, some are just there to be collecting salary.

You aint making any point here, Inec have being conducting election in Nigeria since 1999 till 2019 and they have use Nurtw drivers across the nation, these not some new or an ideal they just came up with, whats the fuss
If Mc olumo was getting logistic contract from inec by default he won't have applied and Inec made they stand clear to the public, whats the fuss.
I have nothing against IGBOS asides politics, i notice they are terrible losers in politics, they cry wolf and play victim card just too much in everything, can anyone swear with there lives Transport workers in East have no preferred candidate ?
INEC made it clear they have no business with MC olumo, whatelse again ?? abi dey should hire GIGM or YSG motors cheesy

Thank you for this, just want to add to it, every bus carrying electoral materials will surely have security operatives with them, and how sure are we that other transport agencies do not have their own candidate they support even though they did not declare it openly

Let see the CTC of the verdict of the Court not the headline.. INEC can't do without public Transport System.. if the verdict mentiond MC Oluomo then it's an exercise in futility.. Is the Judgment banning INEC from using Lagos Motor Park & Garage Management?

God will bless you
How is this a good news, Oluomo is not a bus driver and moreover court bar Oluomo and not is group or organization. therefore it is an exercise in futility. Oluomo boys are the ones that will transport the election materials, let the court do their worse. It can only be a good news if the court bar LASPGM which Oluomo is their chairman

Truth be told, I don't support INEC using these transport workers to move electoral materials be it before or after the voting exercise. Almost all of them are for Asiwaju, and there is no guarantee the ballots won't be compromised. Even if the ballots are not compromised, LP that stood no chance of winning in Lagos, and PDP will cry foul that the election is not free and fair.

You said Inec should not use them, pls tell us who will then carry the materials to the polling units

Politics / Re: Dele Sobowale: Atiku Will Win Most Nigeria's Disputed Election by Shegs12345(m): 10:32am On Feb 13
(Obi was also not an active crusader. His defection to the LP was very fortunate because he became the elusive Igbo candidate. Unfortunately, instead of a united South East, he is opposed by some strong Igbo politicians and pervasive violence might prevent Ndigbo from coming out on Election Day to vote massively for him. Finally, there is the possibility of stay-at-home order. The bulk vote he needs is threatened. In addition, his campaign workers have failed to create the grass roots support nationally).

This is one of the reasons Obi might not win this election
The fear of Unknown gunmen has decimate the block vote in the east

If una like, cry from today till thy kingdom come, Emefiele will not remove his legs from Tinubu’s scrotum 😜.

The next thing now would be to get Buhari to sign an Executive Order to ensure that February 10th deadline remains sacrosanct.

By the time APC and Wike are done going from High Court to Appeal to Supreme Court challenging the legality of such Executive Order, the Elections would have been over by 3 months.

Ndi ala!😏

Tomorrow is the naira swap deadline, let's see if Emefiele is truly their daddy

After this election we are going to be aware of certain things
1)the problem of Nigeria is tribalism and not all about religion but mostly tribalism
And hausas are not really tribalistic the way we thought
But the yorubas are more tribalistic..the problem with hausas is that little religious line..apart from that hausas are fantastic people

Because as at the time Buhari was sick and travelling for medical attention we all was clamouring for him to hand over to a healthy and vibrant Osinbajo. We regretted our action of being stupid to elect a sick old man

But now we have a vibrant and healthy Peter obi contesting but the yorubas because of tribalism wants us to install tinubu again knowing fully well that the world will mock us

The worse part of it is that the pain and memory of the incessant travel for medical check up by Buhari is still very fresh in our mind.not like it happened 20 years ago. It just happened yesterday..

And for all those quoting me. Please am not any of this tribe not igbo, yoruba or hausa. I'm from the South South

Yoruba are TRIBALISTIC and they once voted against their own son OBJ
They also voted for Yaradua
They also voted for Jonathan
They also voted for Buhari
We are TRIBALISTIC and we accommodate ur brothers in our land, allow them to contest for any post of their choice, some even won during the 2015 election
Yoruba's are TRIBALISTIC but some of your brothers we're appointed as commissioners, SA, etc
Yoruba's are TRIBALISTIC but some of ur people are the market leaders in some of our markets
PLS THINK BEFORE YOU TALK 😎😎😎😎
