This reminds me of one of the initiatives Ghadaffi had to unite Africa but the US were smart enough to make his people turn against him. |
They have found an opportunity to stop the Tax reform bill from being passed by replacing the Senate President. This is why most Southern and MiddleBelt Senators cant support Natasha because where she just sees it as an opportunity to bring Akpabio down regarding a sitting arrangement dispute, others see the bigger picture as an opportunity to further their "No tax-reform" agenda. They want to keep getting Allocations based on Population and not Productivity. |
I remember every Nigerian cursing this man some 20yrs ago.. it got worse when he wanted to get a 3rd term. Now, they are painting him like some hero... Many Nigerians pain and suffering they endured easily... and the others are youths that were toddlers then or not even born. Then you have some with low exposure and intelligence at the time, that were most-likely still in the village. |
If you do anyhow na Kirikiri yiu go just rot in. Nnamdi Kanu do pass this one. The Supreme court has spoken... any other thing said or done outside the Amaewhule Assembly is illegal. No go carry another person load. |

Fubara is not a very wise politician. Even if you want to go toe-to-toe with with Wike, at least have the support of the Federal Govt. or the elders of the state (not just people that have a longstanding beef with Wike and didnt even want you to become Governor). When Fashola had issues with Tinubu, the Governor Advisory Council were behind him and that is why he could go for a 2nd term. At the moment, Obasa has issues with the GAC but Tinubu supports him. These are people that also supported them as they rose in rank, they didnt just suddenly start supporting them like Odili,Amaechi,Bala that were against Fubara in 2022/23. Also, you need to understand the laws well so you can cover yourself against any attack. As it stands, Wike is simply using the knowledge of the law to beat Fubara like he is his kid. How many of Odili,Amaechi,Bala have come out to talk since the Supreme Court passed her judgement? They've all hidden. In the end, Fubara will be impeached and that is the end of his political career. |
She created chaos over a sitting arrangement that is legally binding. False sexual harrassment allegation of the Senate President on National TV. Zero evidence History of false allegation against Reno (Sexual), Fayemi (Sale of AjaOkuta) Wrongly drafted Petition against the Senate President - thrown out. For this one, she is not a Liverpool fan.... (she will walk alone) Even her fellow Female senators and party members are not supporting her. |
Leonardo4:According to some reports, the affidavit was withdrawn. |
IMPEACHMENT LOOMS!! ![]() |
press9jatv:How is he fully in charge when a vast majority of people that are now in the state HOR are against him? It's like you dont understand what is going on. |
Isokiscool:So you expect the Supreme court to allow 3 people to run the HOR of an entire state? |
Odin13:So a 3-man HoR in a whole state is the right thing? Keep playing nzogbu nzogbu politics. |
mbahdi:An election that even INEC didnt approve of nor officially delegate to the state NEC to carry out. Fubara just made his state NEC to organize an impromptu election and passed it through a 3-man HoR. Where is that done? What were you expecting? ![]() |
Landlords visit the same markets, buy the same goods, use the same network providers, pay for the same bills etc. Of course, it is only normal for them to increase their rent based on the inflation rate and purchasing power of the naira. What the government should do instead is compel companies to increase the salary of their staff to meet the current rates. Minimum wage increase should work alongside increase in salary for all, not just those below the new minimum wage. For example, if I earn 150k before as an office worker, I shouldnt keep earning that while a gateman that was earning 35k now earns 80k. |
Obasa and SanwoOlu are both loyal to Tinubu The "Actual Governing body" a.k.a "Lagos state Caucus" don't like Obasa and want him gone. Tinubu has no issues with Obasa and will rather things return to normal with him as the speaker. This reminds me of the case of Ambode where we all thought he had issues with Tinubu meanwhile it was even Tinubu that supported him. It turns out that it was this group of "Decision makers" that Ambode actually upset. In the end, they will all find a resolution. |

MasterJayJay:It's like you are very slow upstairs. Am I talking about whose fault it is or isn't? The point is that the fragmentation of PDP favours APC and is the main reason APC won 2023 election despite the Naira scarcity brohaha and increased hatred by some of the masses. It's common sense really. |
Michelle70:Apparently, there is a report that they withdrew the Affidavit. The defection to APC doesnt matter now. They can even be party-less. What matters is if they have resigned from PDP and only PDP can confirm that with evidence of signed resignation by each of them.
|
Fiscus105:The same Osibanjo you claim to prefer made his name as major parts under Tinubu and Buhari's government... the two government you claim to hate . The truth is you only prefer Osibanjo because you see him as a weakling not because of anything he has done. |
Odin13:This is between Obasa and SanwoOlu. Tinubu has no real dog in this race as they are both loyal to him. But there are reports that he has ordered Obasa to be reinstated for peace to reign ,however the "unknown" Caucus that once evicted Akinwunmi Ambode are still against Obasa. |
MasterJayJay:Its obvious from the way you think that you are one of these GenZ. Buhari had power of incumbency in 2019 and APC strongholds were intact in the North n SW. 2023 was the perfect chance for PDP to reclaim power because the hatred for APC was much worse, as well as Tinubu was not as popular in the North as Buhari was. The Naira scarcity is another indices that played against APC(Tinubu) in 2023. But PDP,LP divisions meant Tinubu didnt need to have majority of votes, he just needed more votes than PDP. It is difficult to take power from an incumbent president except when the party is divided and you have a united strong opposition like GEJ suffered against Buhari in 2015. Whether you like him or not, I can tell you that Tinubu will remain in office come 2027. Any smart politician or political analyst knows that already. |
Samueljohnny449:Oh really? you that know, please tell us what you think you know. I'm open to learning as long as you can verify it with evidence. I'm waiting... |
MasterJayJay:Before your LP's waive of madness, they had one Governor(Mimiko) which is the same as what they have now- one Governor(Otti) In every election in the World their are two major contenders, whether you like it or not. Even in USA there are multiple parties but we know its mainly between Democrat and Republican. Majority of LP new waive of member were previous PDP members and with them, they took PDP's stronghold especially in the SE and some parts of SS. LP took some NNPP took some then within PDP ,we still had Wike faction and Atiku faction. Meanwhile, APC still remained intact. So who do you think all those favoured? Don't worry, maybe by 2035 you will finally understand politics and electioneering permutation. |
This one just dey finger Igbos brain.. Maradona for a reason ![]() -Aburi accord was agreed -Ojukwu went against it by invading the Midwest(present day NigerDelta), trying to force them to join him. instead of just going with his Biafrans. Several people in Benin were slaughtered by Ojukwu's order. Why did Ojukwu do this? It's because his aim all along was to have control of the Oil rich region during a time of Oil boom. He never really wanted Biafra for Biafrans. -Gowon did the right thing by returning the "favour" to push Biafran soldiers back. Then came the war. -Gowon in his kind heartedness, (some can argue 'foolishness') was still sending food from the North to SE, thinking it was getting to the civilians and kids. -Gowon later released Awolowo and made him the Minister of Finance. That was the beginning of the end of the war because Awolowo did his investigation and discovered that the food Gowon kept sending was being cornered by the Biafran soldiers who kept getting fat while the civilians kept starving to death. - With the advise of Awolowo ,Gowon stopped sending food and within months Ojukwu -who had already sent his family to Ivory Coast before the war started, escaped like a coward to join them; Leaving the remaining Soldiers to keep fighting a lost battle and the civilians to keep starving to death. - It was worse because these civilians had already gone to deposit all their money in the bank to be replaced by Biafran currency- which wasnt a legal tender anywhere in the world, so they couldnt migrate or buy food from neighbouring countries. Ojukwu had used some of the money they deposited to secure arms and pocketed the rest. In simple terms, the real Biafran civilians were defrauded by Ojukwu who fuelled their "hate" to push his own agenda. - It had to be Phillip Effiong from Calabar-one of those whose community,Ojukwu had invaded in SS, that surrendered, if not the entire Igbo clan would have been erased all because they were foolish enough to follow a selfish millionaire soldier into a battle that he knew he can't win. - After the war, Awolowo was the one that still willingly gave every Biafran alive, young or old, 20 pounds because they had all foolishly given whatever cash they had to Ojukwu's fake bank for exchange to Biafran currency. Many of those that had their money saved in banks in Lagos,Kano etc were dead too because they were the first casualties of Gowon's retaliation after Ojukwu had invaded the MidWest. Today, the grandchildren of these civilian Biafrans that were deceived have been brainwashed to see the same Ojukwu that escaped to Ivory Coast as the hero. Meanwhile, even their fathers didnt vote for Ojukwu when he contested to be president of Nigeria in 2003 and 2007. They rather voted OBJ- the same guy that led the battalion that finally defeated Biafra after originally leading the Battalion to repel Ojukwu's boys in the Midwest, a year earlier. In fact we can say OBJ was the General that actually defeated Biafra. That shows that for them to still vote OBJ over OJukwu in an election, that means these Biafran parents know something about Ojukwu or were told something about him by their parents(grandparent) ,that they didnt tell their own offsprings. This same Ojukwu lost in 1983 when he wanted to become a Senator. His loss in 2007 Presidential election to Yar'adua and 4 others(as he came 6th) was the worst because he could only get about 156k votes. Even Aba alone had well over 156k adults.. so why didnt these SEners vote for their apparent "Hero" ? Uzor Kalu that came 4th in that election still had 600k votes -mostly from the same SE. That is at least 5x that of 'hero' Ojukwu. Think about it. There is something bad/toxic about Ojukwu that the SEners above 35yrs old dont want to reveal. Or maybe they actually see Ojukwu for the selfish fraudster and coward he truly was but won't openly admit it. Dont even get me started on Wole Soyinka who was among the few Nigerians that openly supported and protested for the Biafran CIVILIANS - even highjacking a radio station in the process. Today, their grandchildren are hating on him because he did not support Obi- the same Obi that they all saw as a failure when he was Governor. It's almost as if some Igbos just love deceiving themselves thinking it's to save face. |
floss:The case is of money laundering not defrauding his brother. Many artistes and celebrities launder money for politicians.. and there is a possibility that Psquare themselves might be involved. In the end its about what can be proven and probably Jude didnt cover his tracks. |
The people in her constituency voted her in to pass bills that will favour them but instead the highlight of her 2years in office is to fight over sitting arrangement and some people are cheering that on because their hate for APC is devoid of common sense. That is the way the Abuja senator was busy fighting Wike over illegally gotten land, meanwhile Wike keeps constructing and fixing roads and have something to show for his time in office. They think playing the female victim-card works when there are literally laws and rules guiding every action. Well, I blame Akpabio for not exercising the power of the Senate President to the fullest. He plays with them too much. Some people dont realise how powerful the seat of the Senate President is. On paper he is the 3rd in command but in reality, he is more powerful than the VicePresident. Only the President is above the Senate President in reality. He is literally the head of the second arm of government(the legislative) and has as much influence as the President(who heads the Executive arm) on who becomes the head of the third arm(Judiciary) - Chief Justice of Federation. |
ElevationD:If I ask you one development or bill she has moved that has favoured her constituency now, you have no idea. Your own is just to see turbulence over sitting arrangement, like that is what her constituency voted her in to do. |
Rufai is a technocrat not a politician and he keeps showing it. Buhari's CPC-cum-APC waive is how he became Governor of Kaduna -the state Buhari resides in. You are trying to play insecurity propaganda against the NSA whose reign has stopped or drastically reduced killings and conflict in Southern Kaduna. In politics and propaganda, you highlight your strength and the opponent's weakness or perceived weakness... not the other way round. At least make this beef interesting for we the spectators. ![]() |
Lol. We knew that long ago, it's just that some people like brainwashing the ignorant ones and gaslighting others. LP lost her soul when Mimiko left. What we have since then have been a specimen for social experiment to see how easily a corrupt and failed former Governor can be whitewashed with tribal bias at it's root and ignorance for the 'woke youths'. It has been a tool to help APC by dividing PDP's vote. Even the Soludo that these jokers are suddenly backing said it already. The smart ones used that tool to boost their PR and some used it to get into the senate/HoR from the backdoor. It's obvious Unfortunately, there are more unintelligent people among the so called "woke" ones than intelligent people. |
IBB is not called Maradona for nothing. It's just funny that this time, it's some Igbos with their self-deceit and confirmation bias that he is dribbling towards. Awo organized coup as civilian but somehow forgot to release himself from prison. The mumu people sef go believe such baldderdash. IBB that came on air to annul 1993 election and sent soldiers to off protesters when he wasn't just the Head of state but he was so powerful that he declare himself the "Military President" but according to him, it's Abacha's fault. Same Abacha that was still a boy to IBB as at 1993. Abiola's death remains a mystery- maybe he will blame Buhari or Shagari for that next time. He is just waiting for them to pass on before he pushes it on them. MARADONA even in his 80s ![]() |
Well, this is very simple to prove. Before you defect to another party, you have to officially withdraw your membership from your original party. If PDP can provide the documents the 27 Lawmakers signed and submitted to resign from their party then it is official that they left PDP, irrespective of whether they join APC or not. But if PDP have no documentation confirming such then they are officially still members. |
