Dogalmighty17: Refinery can't produce a litre of fuel and yet workers are being paid? That refinery hasn't worked in over 25 years and yet workers are being paid? For doing what exactly?
Government should sack all of them and ask the Nigerian Airforce to bomb the refinery to pieces. What nonsense is this? I don't want to believe a human being typed this. There are people working tirelessly while others are sabotaging it. Corruption is too much. They must be paid in full cos they've been paid. They should sack people's parents depending on it to feed their families? Na wa o. No sympathy at all. |

Omo US is just the richest business country. Their economy is just miles ahead. I love them for one thing: they know how to do and create businesses. They are also serious in it. Take for example their musicians, the way they sing as though there's a gun on the head to deliver (Beyonce, Lt.Michael Jackson are examples). Is it the movie world? TOP NOTCH, corporate world, tech, etc. They promote and encourage THE BEST. Anything also is business to them like ANYTHING. They can go extra Mile. The US will need a serious demarketing for China to overtake her which is IMPOSSIBLE because Ironically, US is in charge of marketing WORLDWIDE china dey try o but dem still dey kashin baya where US dey |

God help Nigerians! Some of them (if they don't change their mentality) will die poor (no be curse). Chai!!! |
Fashion › Re: EU Partners Nigeria Fashion Week 2026 by shegztech(m): 11:15am On Sep 26 |
CaseSensitive: Nigeria didn't participate in any Industrial Revolution in the way Britain and parts of Europe did. The raw materials they extracted from us powered their Industrial Revolution while locking us out of it, now EU is treating sustainability as the next logical stage after industrial growth. In reality, Nigeria is being asked to adopt the environmental standards of industrialised economies without having received comparable access to industrial capacity, technology, infrastructure or wealth.
In Nigeria we have long reused clothing, repaired garments, repurposed fabrics and operated small-scale textile businesses. These practices should not simply be rebranded as a new European sustainability agenda. The EU should recognise existing Nigerian knowledge and enterprise rather than implying that environmental responsibility arrives through an EU partnership. The EU can bugger off with their "sustainable fashion" crap.
Nigeria had already been practising sustainable fashion long before Europe knew what it was. Look, ENOUGH OF THE "EUROPE WAS THE VILLAIN" THING. Even China too have their story to tell BUT they moved on. China enjoyed Europe's partnership and investment without remembering the past. What of Japan? Today, they are one of America's biggest ally despite all America did to her. This "malice mentality" is why some Nigerians are the way they are. Learn from your politicians. They don't make permanent enemies. Nothing dey life. Don't be too emotional and don't hate everything cos your blessing can come from what you hate. WAKE UP!!! |

HacheNoire: So English is growth now! The dialect of a one time village now called UK.
You said Chinese are learning English? What is their major language from basic tertiary?
Not even all their course are in English and yet, they doing wonders matching up to super powers!
We that learnt English all our life’s! Most of our kids can’t even speak native language fluently! What have we achieved!
We are products of colonization! People whose culture have been wiped off by colonization!
A people who even detest their own tradition, culture, language and identity, all in the name of “wannabe”
Like they will ever fit into the white man’s league! You clearly didn't understand what I wrote up there. Its not about detesting your culture, NO. It is about "business". You didn't even call "Singapore" (where there is little or no poverty) in your "matching with the whites". Singaporeans have outmatched whites (in terms of national wealth and standard of living). Singapore is now synonymous to "wealth". What is their official language? Go back and read what I said about China to understand what I was saying. |
Education › Re: Algeria Promotes English In Primary Schools As French Loses Grounds by shegztech(m): 9:58pm On Sep 18 |
HacheNoire: Dunces!
Why not adopt your own native language!
China, Saudi, Oman, UAE, Russia, Germany, France, UK and the likes did not need to adopt a language. They accepted and propagated what they have!
You dumped French and adopted English like you still not speaking the language of your colonial masters. Not all of them. A lot of Chinese in China are now enrolling in English lessons like back-to-back. It might not be in their curriculum but it is beginning to show (the lacuna). The aim is to be able to communicate with their foreign counterparts. Besides, no be by refusing to adopt foreign language be prosperity. There are countries that speak foreign languages and are even more prosperous than some countries you listed out there. You wey dey look for growth no suppose dey do yanga, dey refuse international languages. It will be gross stupidity. Lack and pride/arrogance is a very dangerous combo. The aim like I said is for SMOOTH international business transaction. Its very good. Just have a good government THAT'S ALL |
