Yes, they retain your old passport now, i just renewed and do correctio on my own this February.

Has the Nigerian Immigration started to retain applicants's old passport on renewal ? I still have two of my previous old passports given back to me upon renewal.

** Anyways , the new passport is still going to carry the old passport number therefore, it's still the same lifespan continuation. 👍

yeah, cost of living in Illinois compared to the likes NYC, Washington etc. Besides Nigeria academics is not predictable.

I dont think this is a good point. If you want low/lesser standard of living, you will rather remain in Nigeria. Probably, you want to talk about the cost of living.

I am interested in illinois because of their low/lesser standard of living and tuition fee, as for the UG here in Nigeria it's the crawling of our academics and uncertain calendar. Thanks as I look forward to more advices.

willing to further and complete my Education at US as an international transfer student, looking for admissions at less cost and standard universities in US and as well about to write my Duolingo exam this month. here are my questions;
1- Can i apply as a Transfer student and Freshman at a time in the same university in US but with different email and what's my chance of given admission to either of the programme?
2- What is my chance of given VISA at Embassy as a transfer student mostly especially a 3rd year student here in Nigeria?
3- is age a barrier in US admission ?
