BREAKING NEWS: SAHEED OSUPA ORDERS WITHDRAWAL OF LEGAL CASE AGAINST PORTABLE, CITING COMPASSION AND PUBLIC PLEAS

The management of King (Dr.) Saheed Osupa wishes to inform the general public that the legal action previously instituted against Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has been formally withdrawn on the instruction of Osupa himself.



It is essential to clarify that the legal proceedings were initially initiated by Osupa’s management team in response to what was considered a grave violation of intellectual property rights and an unacceptable pattern of defamation and public misconduct. Hence, the intention was not personal, but to set a precedent that would discourage unruly behavior and promote responsibility, especially among younger artists.



However, following heartfelt pleas from several prominent Nigerians—amongst whom are Alhaji Ahmad Lawal, CEO of Lahmad Concepts, and Saheed Ibile, CEO of Harmony Holdings Ltd, Alh. Fatai Lajero on behalf of Olufimo Royal Parliament, and Alh. Waheed Ogunsesan, National President Olufimo Fans Club.— and moved by Portable's plight, following his inability to meet his bail conditions, Osupa gave a personal directive for the immediate withdrawal of the case.



Please note that this decision is driven by compassion and the hope that this moment will serve as a turning point in Portable’s life and career, as Osupa believes that while accountability is essential, mercy, too, is a pillar of leadership. He hopes that Portable will seize this opportunity for reflection, growth, and transformation.



As a condition of this withdrawal, Portable is expected to:



- Retract his statement implying Saheed Osupa should be held responsible if anything happens to him

- Confess to the falsehood of the public claim of his lawyer, Chief Bar. Isaac Adebayo, about holding Saheed Osupa's leg begging for forgiveness, because contrary to this claim, Osupa did not even set his eyes on Portable

- Sign an undertaking to desist from cyberbullying, defamation, and character assassination henceforth.

If these conditions are not met, the case may be reinstated.



Osupa remains committed to supporting a music industry built on respect, discipline, and mutual growth. He continues to use his platform to guide and uplift the next generation of creatives.

Onyeka Emordi's was arrested for a different offense at Ummunede... sincerely He don't know anything concerning this case of Dikibo. Shortly after the arrest of Onyeka Emordi at Ummunede, and was transferred from Ummunede to Asaba, from Asaba, D.I.G came and took him to Abuja, and before that time he doesn't know happened that they took them to Abuja, where they meet this case of Dikibo added to their warrants and that wasn't the case that made them to be arrested initially.. even while they were at Abuja, the family of Dikibo requested their release saying they know those who killed their Father, but the Govt of then refused that it was armed robbers that killed Dikibo...the family said it was assassins that assassinated their Father, after all said and done, Onyeka Emordi was taken to court, then judgement was passed and He was convicted innocently to death for a case He knew nothing about, while the real killers are out there moving freely on the street, in accordance to what the family of late Dikibo said. At some poiny someone wanted helping them for appeal and the court said there was no record of Judgement, that the documents are missen... Onyeka Emordi's mom went to the board of Mercy in Asaba, the board asked His mom to get a confirmation letter from Ogwashiukwu high court in Delta state. Which the judgement was missen... She went to the court, the court started asking His mother if she knows the implications of disclosing the matter to the public or the board of Mercy that the Judgement was missen...The boy's(Onyeka Emordi) mother went back to the board of Mercy with the report that the there was no record or letter to indicate,.. To make things better, the board of Mercy instructed that the boy(Onyeka Emordi) writes a letter to them through the prison authority to ascertain that he is actually in prison...so the Onyeka Emordi did, and efforts was made and Onyeka Emordi was taken out of death row into life imprisonment.. this is a matter of 2004 February 3rd...that Emordi Onyeka has been taken away and He's still in confirment for a crime He is didn't commit
Truly if justice had prevailed, President Mohammedu Buhari wouldn't have ordered the reopening and investigation into the matter, but the I.G of Police in 2016 didn't carry out the assignment issued out by the then President on 18 july 2016, but covered the matter, remaining mute about it when an innocent person is still locked up behind the prison walls...
I am calling on the Office of the
1. Attorney general of the Federation
2. The I.G of Police
3. Governor of Delta state ,
And the ministry of Justice of Delta state to take a keen look into this matter and let justice prevail, as the real perpetrators are still out there roaming and continuing in their act....
