I don't see myself as a content creator, that might sound strange, especially if you’ve seen me in a few videos. But the truth is, I never started doing it because I had a passion for creating content. It happened differently. A friend of mine, who is a content creator, once asked me to feature in one of his videos. He’s based in Lagos, while I’m in Ibadan, but I agreed. It wasn't about pursuing a new passion, but rather a way to improve my communication skills, something I have always struggled with as an introvert who is also quite shy. I’m naturally a private person. Most times, I know what I want to say, but expressing it clearly isn’t always easy for me. I’m more comfortable thinking than talking. So instead of avoiding the discomfort, I decided to face it in a practical way. Being in front of a camera forced me to speak, even when it felt uncomfortable. It made me more aware of how I express myself, how I sound, and how I connect with people. That was the real reason I showed up. Not for fame, not for money, not because I see it as my field. Just growth. I don’t plan to become a content creator. I don’t see it as my work. I only help out occasionally when needed. So if someone calls me a content creator, I’ll honestly say I’m not. I just feature sometimes. And sometimes, doing something outside your comfort zone, even if it’s not your path, can still teach you something valuable. For me, it’s learning how to communicate better, one step at a time. — Shigosag (Segun Arulogun Gabriel)

At first, it was confusing, but I kept going using trial-and-error and asking questions. Over time, I improved my: Problem-solving Logical thinking Understanding of how code works I’m still learning, but consistency made a big difference. I started chess without knowing anything about the game. At first, I relied on hints and undo moves when playing on phone chess. Later, I started learning properly using Dr. Wolf. After understanding the basics, I improved through: Trial-and-error Practicing consistently Now I can play without hints or undo. Chess really helped me develop patience, focus, thinking ability and strategic thinking. How did you guys learn chess? — Shigosag (Segun Arulogun Gabriel)

I’ll keep this simple. Forex trading is not as easy as it looks online. Many strategies look good in backtesting but fail in live trading. From what I’ve seen: Market conditions change Strategies stop working Consistency is very hard Even EAs can fail due to over-optimization. Forex is not a guaranteed income. It requires discipline and adaptation. Has anyone here found something that works consistently in live trading? — Shigosag (Segun Arulogun Gabriel) |
