You are just talking and making no end. Hit your head on the nail, sorry, hit the nail on your head, oh sorry, Hit the nail on the head let's get ur point. |
I was in the church last Sunday being Palm Sunday and was watching the dimension the Church is taking at this timeless cum timely hours of battle. I am not talking of those Pentecostal churches, no! I'm talking of an ancient generational Church. It was a confusing scenery as I sat and watch everybody jumping here and there rejoicing praising and making lots and lots of noise in the cause of worship, then I came to ask myself, do they worship in Truth and Spirit. (John 4:23) I couldn't comprehend anything going on in the Church. But thank God for sermon. It was during the time of sermon that I got it clear by the inspiration of the Holy spirit. As Holy Spirit began to minister unto me I began to see THE CHURCH AT EASE IN ZION. The text of the sermon is taken from Luke gospel chapter nineteen. This tells of the journey of Jesus Christ to the city of Jerusalem. "And when he was come near, he beheld the city, and wept over it, Saying, If thou hadst known, even you, at least in this thy day, the things that makes up thy peace! but now they are hid from thine eyes. For the days shall come upon thee, that thine enemies shall cast a trench about thee, and compass thee round, and keep thee in on every side, And level you, and your children within you, to the ground; and they will not leave in you one stone upon another, because you did not know the time of your visitation." (Luke 19:41-44) The people in Jerusalem were rejoicing over their great and beautiful City just like the church of nowadays is jumping and making Merry in their magnificent, air-conditioned building called Church. But as Jesus drew near and beheld the city that its glory has departed, a city waiting for its dooms day, he wept. The truth is that this same Jesus that resurrected from death, ascended to Heaven, seated on the right hand side of God; the same Jesus that wept for Jerusalem is still weeping for the Church of today. You will catch a glimpse of this weeping in chapter two and three of the book Revelation. Christ is weeping and "Saying if thou hadst known, even you, at least in this thy day, the things that makes up thy peace! but now they are hid from thine eyes. I was terrified by the word "what makes up thy peace is now hid before thy eyes" and when I was looking through this word, the spirit took me to Jeremiah 29:7. And then I saw every reason to pray for peace in this our country Nigeria. This is a weeping for Christians in this country. I was going through the news online this morning and saw this that reads that the radical islamist group (ISIS) just took over Quaragosh, the biggest Christian city in Iraq and that hundreds of men, women and children are being beheaded. Brethren, my brethren, this is not a time for story, this is not time for just formal congregate, it is not a time to stay at ease. God is weeping because Christians do not know what makes up their Peace. This is a time to pray. |
In a just and unquorupt country, it is the Masses that chooses whom to lead and i think APC undstands this. That while PDP is hostile, insisting on "we know how we do our things", counting on those they think that matters, giving to them that has and ignoring the masses that were to vote, their opponents that can read CHANGE, concentrates on the masses to catapult him to Aso Rock. Suffice to say that PDP campaign manager failed here. Now the mighty has fallen. The almighty Party, the indomitable PDP has just fallen. |
