Politics / Re: Son Drags Former President Obasanjo to court For Sleeping with His Wife by shiningshina(m): 2:23am On Feb 18, 2015 |
There are apparently a lot of kids commenting in this thread. What we have hear is ONLY a sworn affidavit, which only states the views of a deranged son. Did he see President Obasanjo sleeping with his wife? NO. He himself made no such claim. Rather, he is only assuming that his wife must have slept with his father simply because she got contracts from him! That is indeed very silly of that bad son. Gbenga took his lies to extreme extents when he alleges that his wife's father also slept with her! To what ends? Why would he suddenly start to sleep with his daughter for no obvious reason, despite that she had earlier lived under him, possibly for decades, without incident?! Again, Gbenga has NOT claimed to have seen his father-in-law sleeping with his wife. He has only assumed that. And some kids here are dancing about this?!!!! |

Actually, GEJ's Boko boys planned to mass-bomb the campaign of GMB in Maiduguri. But, God foiled their plan http://www.slimluvs.com/trailer-filled-with-arms-intercepted-in-maiduguri-ahead-of-buharis-presidential-campaign-rally/ See this also http://thewillnigeria.com/news/five-youths-killed-as-soldiers-jtf-clash-in-maiduguri/ 2 Likes |

kay1one2: Really?! Considering your total ignorance of Islam (except what you read on Islamophobic websites), I will pass over that. But, then, have you ever read the Bible well? If yes, you must have read these crimes of Jesus, among others: And we took all his cities at that time, and utterly destroyed the men, and the women, and the little ones, of every city, we left none to remain. Deuteronomy 2:34 And we utterly destroyed them, ... utterly destroying the men, women, and children, of every city. Deuteronomy 3:6 And when the LORD thy God shall deliver them before thee; thou shalt smite them, and utterly destroy them; thou shalt make no covenant with them, nor shew mercy unto them. Deuteronomy 7:2 And thou shalt consume all the people which the LORD thy God shall deliver thee; thine eye shall have no pity upon them. Deuteronomy 7:16 Thou shalt surely smite the inhabitants of that city with the edge of the sword, destroying it utterly, and all that is therein, and the cattle thereof, with the edge of the sword. Deuteronomy 13:15 But of the cities of these people, which the LORD thy God doth give thee for an inheritance, thou shalt save alive nothing that breatheth. Deuteronomy 20:16-17 And they utterly destroyed all that was in the city, both man and woman, young and old, and ox, and sheep, and ass, with the edge of the sword. Joshua 6:21 So smote all the country ... he left none remaining, but utterly destroyed all that breathed, as the LORD God of Israel commanded. Joshua 10:40 Thus saith the LORD of hosts ... go and smite Amalek, and utterly destroy all that they have, and spare them not; but slay both man and woman, infant and suckling, ox and sheep, camel and ass. 1 Samuel 15:2-3 15 Likes 3 Shares |

Politics / Re: Difference Between Stealing & Corruption: What Nigeria's Criminal Code Says by shiningshina(m): 3:49pm On Feb 15, 2015 |
What you have quoted in the OP proves that stealing is an act of corruption. So, clueless Jonathan was wrong for trying to completely separate them. Simple as that! |

Politics / The Charge Of Islamism Against Buhari by shiningshina(m): 1:37am On Feb 12, 2015 |
I have read it countless times on nairaland: GMB will "islamize" Nigeria if elected. Well, those who make this claim never wait to define what "islamize" means. Does it mean that Buhari will repeal all the laws of Nigeria and replace them with the Shari'ah? Or, does it rather mean that he will declare "the Islamic Republic of Nigeria" headed by a "caliph" or "emir"? Or, will he forcibly convert tens of millions of Nigerian Christians to Islam? What exactly is it? Whatever it is, one gets a sense that those who throw the "islamism" charge against Buhari are very "clueless". Do they seriously believe what they are saying? Or, are they merely trolling? Even a completely daft slowpoke knows that no democratic president can "Islamize" or "Christianize" anywhere. His powers are restricted by those of the legislature and the judiciary. Thus, in order to successfully "islamize" Nigeria, Buhari would need the overwhelming approval of both the National Assembly and the judiciary - assuming he even planned that! Why then would anyone continue to bleat the "islamism" nonsense?! |
Politics / Re: Oya Let's Define CORRUPTION!!! by shiningshina(m): 12:59am On Feb 12, 2015 |
This was what GEJ had earlier said: “Over 70 percent of what are called corruption, even by EFCC (Economic and Financial Crimes Commission) and other anti-corruption agencies is not corruption, but common stealing. Corruption is perception, not reality,” the President said during his 7th Presidential Media Chat on Sunday. http://www.premiumtimesng.com/news/160156-corruption-charges-ministers-politically-motivated-says-jonathan.html#sthash.aGWFtVXb.dpbs APPARENTLY, GEJ thinks that the stealing of public funds by public office holders is NOT corruption. |
Politics / Re: Oya Let's Define CORRUPTION!!! by shiningshina(m): 12:44am On Feb 12, 2015 |
Ikengawo: Good one, ikengawo! But, then, do you think stealing public funds by public office holders is not "dishonest or fraudulent conduct by those in power"? Or, is it only "mere stealing"? |
Politics / Oya Let's Define CORRUPTION!!! by shiningshina(m): 12:34am On Feb 12, 2015 |
In his media chat, GEJ was very emphatic on his unmistakable distinction between stealing and corruption. To him, both refer to different things. So, a well-known "thief" like Femi Fani-Kayode is not a "corrupt" man. He is only a thief, and that's it. Unfortunately, GEJ made no attempt to give a clear definition of corruption according to him. This naturally creates a debate between his supporters and his opponents. Here, I would like nairalanders to offer what they consider "corruption" to be. When the international community state that Nigeria is corrupt, what exactly are they saying? The ICPC are supposed to fight "corruption". So, what exactly is that corruption they are fighting? The words of GEJ are very important for the future of this country. They reveal that whenever he promises to fight corruption, he is NOT promising to fight stealing of public funds by public office holders. |
