This is the funniest thing I've seen since Tinubu stumbled on stage June 12.

How can Wike, a politically dead man, hanging onto his final straw via the FCT ministerial job muster the courage to campaign against his only remaining benefactor? If you believe this then you will believe that Bobrisky is female.


Tinubu is definitely behind it.
Just like he railroaded Amaechi, Lawan and co at the last APC presidential primaries, he wants to clear the path for himself come 2027 and he might even reward Wike with Chief of Staff if he pulls it off.


The plan is to use Makinde (whether Makinde is also in on the scam or being deceived by Wike, I do not know) to destabilize PDP and Atiku's chances since Tinubu knows he is a big threat to his 2027 reelection now that he has lost Northern votes.

Having already destabilized Obi's LP, Tinubu's gaze is now on derailing Atiku. Makinde/Wike will hijack PDP's presidential primaries from Atiku and if they succeed, Tinubu's coast will be clearer because Obi is easier to rig against in the main elections.

Tinubu wants to field his boy, Makinde for PDP and some other idiot from Abure's LP to run against him so that he can coast to victory on easy mode. Tinubu hates competition, it rattles him - understand this and you will defeat him. It's the same reason that Funsho Williams was assassinated and Obanikoro was assimilated into APC.


What Atiku needs to do is simple;
Get violent.
Remove Wike from PDP forcefully and replace the entire PDP structure with loyalists. I used the word violent because that is the only way to survive. Wike has to be kicked out of PDP for good same manner Fubara did and not suspended otherwise Atiku is wasting his time. And this has to happen now because waiting to outsmart him during the primaries won't work as he has the courts and FG might in his pockets.

As for Makinde, Atiku can reciprocate by sponsoring a strong PDP Oyo anti-Tinubu candidate against his candidate come 2027 and render him useless in Oyo. Oyo politics is known to be bloody.


In summary:
Having lost all his core Northern votes, Tinubu knows that if he runs against Obi and Atiku in the same conditions as 2023 he will lose to either even with rigging. Obi is naturally popular and is slowly gaining some northern sympathizers while Atiku has northern votes by default plus PDP's structure. Tinubu wants to put them at a huge disadvantage so that the impact of his lost Northern votes will not be felt.
