America has been providing intel, training and offering non-lethal military equipments to us since last year.No 'weapon' has been offered to us so far.
However,I would say that our victory over BH was a result of determined military leadership coupled with external help from "friendly" nations who agreed to sell us lethal hardware.
Okay I know a lot of mopping up has been going on in the affected states But can you tell me the 'friendly' nations that agreed to sell us weapons I only know of Russia..

Nice one. But the article only talks about initial registration, subscription and exemptions. What about actual exam fees?

It also doesn't say anything about how the payment portal identifies u as a Nigerian resident.

I gave you occasions where he granted interview to local&international media stations 'cos you're IMPLYING that he ONLY grants BBC Hausa interviews..BEFORE HE WAS ELECTED Nigerians Knew He was Not fluent in English because of His Accent.

How come he grants multiple interviews to BBC HAUSA? When he is fully aware that as a president of a multilingual country he needs to speak in our official language which is English. We have English speaking stations who have invited him for similar interviews countless number of times, yet he chooses BBC HAUSA repeatedly. @ his grand old age of 72, surely he should be wiser than this.
Stop.putting up Buncombe posts and go TO YOUTUBE and watch His interviews with Local &international news media..as someone said you must have sleeping when he granted interview with NTA even Threads were opened on NL about his interviews..

Ask GEJ..

It takes more than 100 days to build a simple civil case let alone a case for terrorist acts against a nation.

The constitution say they are innocent until proven guilty. If the Army and intelligence investigations can't find enough reasons to charge them, they must be released. That is the Law.

Buhari's plans for guilty Boko Haram members are not important. We already have laws and Boko Haram suspects would be charged with High treason and if found guilty, they will hang.

The law does not respect your sentiments. The same tribunal that found him 'complicit' also found he was not Afterall. That is why the legal system has appeals and people do win appeals sometimes. And just so you know, he was never jailed, he was dismissed. Now he has been reinstated and given his full benefits after he won his appeal and No, he does not still work for the Police as he is kow retired. They only paid him his accrued arrears.

Mind you.. Complicit is not the same thing as being guilty of being a Boko Member.

Because GEJ's Army didn't have him under the same pressure he currently is facing from Buhari's Army.

Maybe the increased precision air strike sorties being flown by our Airmen have hit him and killed or injured him.

Maybe the increased raids and destruction of Boko Haram bases have also destroyed some of his media abilities.

Maybe he is too busy running for his life to shoot a video.

Buhari has been in Power for barely 100 days, those girls have been missing for over 1 year (365 days) and then some. If oy still expect those girls to be found, then you need to stop taking those narcotics you are currently using. Do you think Boko Haram kept the girls in a cell like some Wartime POW'S? Like seriously?

Maybe because the North gave up hope on ever finding the girls over 400 days ago When GEJ did absolutely fhuck all to find the girls.

No.. Borno is an active war zone incase you don't know.

People in Borno don't go to the cinema, go to restaurants to chill out with their babes, stroll into shoprite to buy imported water melons and tangerines.

People in Borno are suffering. Chibok village was burnt down to Ashes. CNN and BBC showed before and after pictures of Chibok and not even trees were spared. Have you seen the IDP camps? That's the life they live. Even if it's a simple orange, it goes a long way.

The Borno State government and the Nigerian government t can't compensate these people enough. The situation they face today is as a result of the failure of the Nigerian government to carry out its primary duty of protecting their lives.

This is what happens when you have been Wailing too long. You start to go senile and think you are Making sense.

That all wires should be removed from the school premises thereby causing power failure?

That the dead (rip) should be brought back to life?

Is the hall under a powerline?

is the school under a powerline?

What exactly is the protest for?
There is a big NEPA station inside Unilag that supplies AKOKA and Environs...
Cables crossing the school which are meant for outside communities.. cables supplying the school are underground..

Anything could have caused her death but this Particular one could have been avoided because they already reported to the school that the wire sparks..

I have been shying away from posting a reply on here since the topic surfaced earlier today, having somewhat found myself at this same crossroad since passing out of nysc two months ago, I didn't feel worthy to claim to have answers to the concerns raised by those two brothers. Albeit, mine tends to be a matter of ambivalence at the moment, wouldn't want to talk about myself here tho.

My two pence... True life story...

Last two days, I found myself inside a klimanjaro fast food, after a hot and usually exhaustive aptitude test somewhere in the southern part of the country, trying to cool off. Somewhere on the south wall of the restaurant had a board hanging, with a caption "OUR STORY" a short write up about how the klimanjaro most of us used to impress babes those days back in school was a brainchild of a few young Nigerians and bla bla, I bent down and asked myself, so why spend close to 5k on transport and almost sustained a hip dislocation on terrible roads just to sit for another frustration in the guise of a recruitment test? Coincidentally just this same week a cousin of mine quit her IT job at a local fast food place, her reason....stress, guess what, she works in the account section, on probing further she revealed this people make a subtle 900k a day, and it's just one of their many outlets, I smiled and told her she wouldn't understand, she's still in school and would definitely get cash for all her needs including hairdo by September.

Summary of my long story.......I have decided, no more job tests, no more unsolicited cv submissions, and don't mistake me, I don't despise salary jobs, I'll gladly accept to grow working for someone else, but am no longer going to beg for it. I join my voice to that of many young and knowledgeable young people out there to ask......hw can with all my numeracy, all my computer skills, all my analytical skills, good command of English, I am to be put through scorn in the name of recruitment and I have to be grateful if I get one at last?

I have decided to explore my inner self, does it mean with all I know I can't solve any of the problems I join every other person to complain about everyday? There must be something I can do to make some cash and invest same into acquiring some real hands on technical skills, which has always been my passion, while relying totally on God, the giver of all things.

Any like minded youngsters should start developing same mentality too, no matter how difficult that seems. God bless us all.
Aaawww one of the reasons why I like NL,,Yes I am already thinking of mine with passion, drive and determination the only problem is capital which is why I'm still considering working for a company for like 2/3yrs after uni and at the same time starting a small one but my main long time vision is owning a Conglomerate....

Its about time we stop having the mentality of searching for a job after school(that's even my parents thought) as the other OP said "THE WORLD DOES NOT OWE US A JOB" BUT creating jobs after school is my own goal...
God Bless You too and see us through whatever plans we have for ourselves...

DictatorZAR:
This is not about stereotyping Nigerians at all. The answer to all this is in the amount of Nigerians who are arrested for doing some of the most horrific crimes, if they did the same in Nigeria they would've been handed the death penalty. Go look at how many Nigeria serving life sentences in SA jails from ordinary commoners to former sports stars.

SA is open to everyone as long as you obey the laws.
Indonesia killed some Nigerians and other nationals for cocaine smuggling some months back, to me they deserved the death penalty Considering How many people's lives they have ruined, destroyed and killed by supplying them drugs But on the other hand Indonesia is protecting its citizens from Prospective druglords as that will serve as a lesson to them and thereby limit drugbarons in their country..

As far as a person is Indeed found guilty of a particular crime the right punishment should be served,, if your prisons are full of Nigerians deport them Except Drugbarons. Tell your govt. to do the needful and stop saying Nigerians,Nigerians, foreigners every time like there is NOT EVEN ONE South African who is a Criminal..

FighterPilot:
You are confusing the whole things. It is not about odd jobs being taken away, it has to do more with how foreigners are being misused. For instance in the past before the influx of foreigners most companies would outsource, areas such as cleaning and refuse removal from their firms in the form of tenders and pay huge sum of money for that, but today they just only pick up some few foreigners on the street to do all that for them for a bargain, saving company a lot of money for a project that they have always tendered for by following necessary legal directives.

Now factories go the short cut by avoiding advertising and procurement costs. That's why the economy is not doing well because everyone is not getting what he used to get. It affects newspapers from the profit they used to make in advertising of these tenders causing them to retrench staff. It affects the survivability of these cleaning services companies.

There are many companies which were established specially for that purpose of cleaning and removing or disposing refuse from these factories. Most of these companies are registered as BEE compliant to empower the previously disadvantaged community.
. We also have those cleaning companies here and companies who can afford them go for them, nobody complains,, you cant tell those companies not to cut cost when they have an alternative to some expenses incurred, its something most companies strive on Less expenses, more revenue..

so INDIRECTLY your citizens also do those odd jobs just that that theirs is behind cleaning company services..
It just amuses me how you people are always saying we do Odd jobs like there is NOT EVEN ONE Nigerian who is a professional..
You should complain more to your government to make necessary/alternative provisions for them ,you complain that they're thieves and you're also angry that they do Menial Jobs.Tell your govt. to quit hiding behind diplomatic-relations-pretence and Deport them, your citizens already gave them the green light by being xenophobic, at Most other countries will talk & cry foul but you get your satisfaction of not wanting foreigners who take your odd jobs, are thieves, rapists, fake pastors and all
