Foreign Affairs › Re: Russia Is The Strongest Country Indeed by shogsman(m): 5:23pm On Sep 15, 2022
Obc1234:
In 2003, the American-led coalition attacks Iraq, a country 10,000 kilometers away from the United States.

The coalition has assembled an army of around 310,000 soldiers, of which only 160,000 are taking part in the invasion. Iraq has nearly 540,000 active soldiers, 70,000 soldiers of the Revolutionary Guard, plus tens of thousands of soldiers from other military and paramilitary units.

Within a month, the coalition wins the war, smashes Iraqi troops and conquers Baghdad. Saddam Hussein's government is dissolved and the country is under coalition occupation. A pro-Western government is established in Iraq.

The coalition loses 196 soldiers, plus 551 soldiers are injured.

In 2022, Russia attacks Ukraine, a country that is practically surrounded by Russia and Belarus. Kyiv is located 200 kilometers from the Russian border.

Russia has an army of over one million active soldiers, of which about 200,000 have been sent to fight Ukraine. Ukraine alone has about 250,000 soldiers, of which only 90,000 are involved in the defense of the country in the initial stages of the invasion.

After 6 months of fighting, Russia still has not managed to defeat Ukraine. Most of the country is still independent, and the Ukrainian government enjoys great support both among the Ukrainian population and internationally.

An estimated 60,000 - 80,000 Russian soldiers have been killed or wounded so far. World power indeed

This is the comparison between the world's first and "second" armies
Foolish people, Russia has not even declared war on Ukraine let alone conscript and send soldiers yet they've taken 30% of the country in just 6 months even though they're basically fighting 49 countries o, using less than 4% of Their millitary.
USA spent $3t and fought with talliban for 20 years and got beat and pursued back like goats

Foreign Affairs › Re: Ukraine Prison Running Out Of Space As Russia Military Surrender. by shogsman(m): 10:25am On Sep 14, 2022
morinto:
Ukrainian forces have retaken 6,000 square kilometres of their homeland - 3,000 of them in the past six days alone, it has been reported.

And in his nightly address to his nation, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said the "advance of our forces" was still continuing.

His claims appear to be supported by renowned think tank, the Institute for the Study of War (ISW), a US-based group which provides research and analysis of defence and foreign affairs.

It said the Ukrainian counteroffensive in the Kharkiv region was "routing Russian forces and collapsing Russia's northern Donbas axis".

It went on: "Russian forces are not conducting a controlled withdrawal and are hurriedly fleeing southeastern Kharkiv Oblast (an administrative region) to escape encirclement around Izyum."

A spokesman for Ukrainian military intelligence said Russian troops were surrendering en masse as "they understand the hopelessness of their situation" and an adviser to President Zelenskyy had said there were so many prisoners of war, the country was running out of space to accommodate them.

It is claimed Ukrainian military have freed more than 20 settlements in 24 hours.
In recent days, Kyiv's forces have captured territory at least twice the size of greater London, according to the British Ministry of Defence.

"Since the beginning of September and up to today, our fighters have liberated more than 6,000 square km of the
territory of Ukraine in the south and in the east," Zelenskyy said in his nightly video.
Ukraine's forces are said to have pushed all the way back to the north-eastern border in some places, forcing the Russians to make a hasty retreat.

There were reports of chaos as Russian troops pulled out.

"The Russians were here in the morning. Then at noon, they suddenly started shouting wildly and began to run away, charging off in tanks and armoured vehicles," Dmytro Hrushchenko, a resident of recently-liberated Zaliznychne, a small town near the eastern front line, told Sky News.

Video taken by the Ukrainian military showed soldiers raising the Ukrainian flag over battle-damaged buildings.

In one scene, a fighter wiped his boots on a Russian flag on the ground. Other videos showed Ukrainians inspecting the wreckage of Russian military vehicles, including tanks.

Ukrainian teams were disarming land mines and other unexploded weapons in the recaptured areas and searching for any remaining Russian troops, officials said.

However, defence experts have cautioned the battle in Ukraine has ebbed and flowed over recent months.
Mumu, yet no single evidence on this,no photos or videos, keep dreaming, captured ko capsule ni

⚠️ GRAPHIC

In Kupyansk, two civilians were shot in the head for collaborating with the Russian army.

I am absolutely sure that the entire Western community of mongrels, led by the United States, will never cover this incident in their lives, they will not want to spoil the illusion of a peaceful and small Ukraine. But it's time to open their eyes to what is happening. These scum, unfortunately, will never get to The Hague, and what can we say, the court of crests will not even get to them.

It is complete dishonor to kill a peaceful unarmed person.

Well said. I wonder how people pretend to be blind to this fact of life.
I use the word "pretend" because if the fortunes were reversed and their forebears were the conquerors, these same people would be feeling quite accomplished and proud of their heritage.
Even in today's world, might is right and only the strong survive. That is the reality of life and evolution.
All the tribalism we witness in our country today, is driven by this same quest for power and dominance and is a source of pride for some people.
Yet you see the same people calling for abolition of a people's monarchy while upholding and taking pride in their own.
They pretend not to know that our African empires were earned by war and plunder not by democratic negotiation.
They think our traditional rulers were elected instead of being from a stock of local warriors who plundered other peoples lands and resources.
How does your rant changes anything, are people not supposed to be mad at bastards that took Thier Fathers and mothers as slaves, killed and maimed them.
I hope someone tortures and kill your mother and your loved ones, let's see how happy you will be to talk about them in death.

Russians are even angry with Putin for being soft on ukraine, now they have knocked out 50% of their power supply, let’s see how they would see road to move equipments!!.. Elite forces of the chenchen republic that left the war after major cities were liberated has returned to the battle, more hands are returning back, I’d see how ukraine would have just one more victory again!!

The withdrawal of Russia from 6 towns in the Kharkov region of Ukraine was obvious and suspicious but Ukraine is too Hasty and are too concern with parading themselves on social media for Pictures, it I'd a trap and ukraine seems to be falling right into it.
before the retreat Russia forces engaged them from afar and killed over 5,000, suffering little casualty of Thier end because they basically just allowed Ukraine to roll in and capture the towns.
For PR that is a win for ukraine but in terms of real time intelligence, they got played
Ukraine is pulling all it's solidiers into this offensive, leaving strategic location and cities with little or no defense, Russia will just step back ,rain missiles on them and pound them to death kharkiv will become the new mauripol in a matter of weeks and ukraine will be left undefended.

Russia retreats from 6 towns and gave up 2,000sq of land to Ukraine but now pounds everything in that land with missile since yesterday.
The cost of 2k sq land for ukraine is 50% of the nations total energy output and constant bombardment on every front .

NOTE:this is not from any official source so I could be wrong.
