My advice is if u must take the SA job, u must prove your worth while working with him. Reducing the price of Fuel will not make prices of other commodities that are dependent on fuel to reduce. Public transport fare will not reduce as this is where the poor masses will majorly benefit from, prices of goods in the market will not reduce either as traders will tell you they paid high on cost of transportation due to bad roads and other environmental forces.
How much fuel do you think the poor and average Nigerians use per day?
How many of them have a car, Generator and the fund to buy more fuel into them?

The rich will buy more fuel as the price reduces because they have more than 1 car and generator set, they will keep buying more goods as the high cost of living doesn't affect them like the poor.
