WhodeyOnline is hiring a Community Activator to help grow one of Nigeria’s fastest-growing live quiz platforms.

This is a fully remote role.

Your job is straightforward:
Find communities. Build relationships. Create excitement. Bring people into the daily live quiz.

Every day on WhodeyOnline is treated like a live event, and your role is to make communities show up for it.

You will help drive participation by partnering with campuses, WhatsApp & Telegram groups, student communities, NYSC circles, hostels, youth communities, influencers, and social groups across Nigeria.

You will also help organize competitions, activations, and community competitions that make people excited to participate daily.

Salary
₦70,000 - ₦100,0000

Performance bonuses available based on growth and activations.

Fully Remote

You can work from anywhere as long as you are active, responsive, organized, and able to consistently drive community participation and growth.

What You’ll Do
Discover active communities and social groups online and offline
Reach out to admins, student leaders, influencers, and community organizers
Build partnerships with campuses, communities, and youth groups
Promote the daily WhodeyOnline live quiz across communities
Organize online and physical quiz competitions and activations
Coordinate community challenges, and competitions
Bring new players into the platform consistently
Build long-term relationships with communities and organizers
Recruit ambassadors and community reps when needed
Create hype around winners, rankings, and competitions
Find creative ways to increase daily participation

WhoDeyOnline is Nigeria's fastest growing daily live quiz platform. Every day at 12PM, Monday to Saturday, the quiz goes live. Over 3,500 young Nigerians compete every week for real cash prizes, with one winner taking home N15,000 every single session. Our audience is made up of young professionals, university students, and NYSC corpers aged 18 to 35. Digitally active, highly engaged, and showing up every single day.

We are building something significant and we are looking for the right person to help us grow it commercially.


THE ROLE

This is not a marketing role.

We are not looking for someone to manage our social media, run campaigns, or create content. We are looking for a closer. Someone who already has the contacts, knows how to get in the room, and comes back with signed deals.

This is a fully remote, full time contract role. You work from wherever you are in Nigeria. What matters is not where you sit. What matters is what you close.

As Partnerships and Sponsorship Executive, you will be responsible for identifying, approaching, and closing brand sponsorship deals for WhoDeyOnline across FMCG, fintech, telco, fashion, food and beverage, energy, and beyond. You will be the commercial engine of this business.

This role reports directly to the Founder.


WHAT YOU WILL DO

Leverage your existing industry contacts to open doors and create conversations immediately.
Build and manage a live pipeline of active sponsorship conversations at all times.
Pitch WhoDeyOnline's partnership offerings confidently to brand managers, marketing leads, and sponsorship decision makers across your target industries.
Close sponsorship and partnership deals.
Log every outreach, call, and conversation in a shared pipeline tracker updated daily
Manage relationships with existing brand partners and ensure every activation runs smoothly


THE CONTACTS YOU MUST ALREADY HAVE

This is the most important part of this job description. Read it carefully.

We are looking for someone who already has active, working relationships inside at least two or more of the following industries in Nigeria.

FMCG , Fintech and Banking , Telco, Food and Beverage, Fashion and Lifestyle , or Energy.

We are not looking for someone who will start building contacts after they are hired. We are looking for someone who can send a WhatsApp to a brand manager today and get a response. If you do not have those contacts this role is not for you.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Minimum 3 years of experience in sponsorship sales, media sales, brand partnerships, or business development in Nigeria.
Proven existing relationships with brand managers, marketing leads, or sponsorship decision makers across at least two of the industries listed above. This is non negotiable

A self starter who needs no hand holding and thrives in a target driven, results oriented environment

Strong communication and negotiation skills with the confidence to pitch at any level

Deep understanding of the Nigerian brand and marketing landscape

Someone hungry, driven, and ready to perform from day one

WHAT THIS IS NOT

This is not an entry level role. This is not a role for someone still building their network. This is not a role where effort is rewarded without results. We respect hard work but we measure success by deals closed and revenue generated. If that environment makes you uncomfortable this role is not the right fit.

TARGETS AND EXPECTATIONS

This role is entirely results oriented. From day one you are expected to be active, planning and moving.

COMPENSATION

Monthly retainer between N200,000 and N300,000 based on experience and industry contacts, plus commission on every deal closed. Commission is paid within 7 days of funds being received and confirmed, on cash received only, not on invoices issued.

CONTRACT TERMS

Three month renewable contract. Renewal is based on performance and pipeline health. The right person will not be concerned about renewal because their results will speak for themselves.

Sponsorship Sales Executive (Remote)

We are hiring a Sponsorship Sales Executive to secure brand sponsorships and advertising partnerships for our fast-growing daily live quiz platform.

This is a performance-driven revenue role.

Work Structure
Fully remote
Working hours: 8am to 3pm
Must be available and responsive during work hours
Stable internet connection and power backup required

Responsibilities
Identify youth-focused brands including betting, fintech, edtech, campus and lifestyle companies
Find marketing managers and key decision makers
Send daily cold outreach via email and LinkedIn
Follow up consistently and professionally
Book sponsor calls
Build and manage a structured sales pipeline
Founder supports final negotiations and closing.

Daily Performance Expectations
Minimum 25 new outreach messages daily
Minimum 10 follow-ups daily
All activity logged in shared tracking sheet
End-of-day performance summary
This role is activity-driven and results-focused.

Compensation
₦50,000 monthly base salary
10% commission on every closed deal
No commission cap

Requirements
Strong written and spoken English

Professional communication skills
Confident speaking with marketing managers
Organized and disciplined
Previous sales or business development experience preferred
Minimum OND, HND or Bachelor’s degree

Description
We’re looking for NYSC corpers who can help coordinate a live online activity by bringing fellow corpers into an assigned WhatsApp group and making sure they join and participate for that day. The live activity takes about 5 minutes to play. You should be able to rally around 40–50 fellow corpers. This is a short, one-day task.

Role
Your job for one day is to bring corpers into the WhatsApp group assigned to you and ensure they join and participate in the live activity for that day when it starts.

Requirements
You must be a current NYSC corper and able to easily reach and convince fellow corpers. You should be active on WhatsApp and available during the activity window.

Payment
This role pays ₦8,000 for one session. 50% is paid upfront and the remaining 50% is paid after the session is completed.
