the trial of frosbel... An interesting question u asked brokoto, attempt to answer will be futile. I can raise a hundred reason and counter reasons, and we will not be better off from where we started. The mistake we (we, meaning christians and others with religious affiliation) is in trying to defend or prove the existence of 'our' God. I dont have to... But am waiting for others to try. |

'there is nothing new under the heavens' Medicine, as we know it today, evolved from practices that we call traditional today. The white man analysed, quantified and isolated chemicals and packaged them into tablets prescribed in doses! He went further to study its effects on the body(pharmacodynamics) and the body's effect on the drug (pharmacokinetics). With advances in tech., he sits in his lab to synthesize chemicals targeted at specific receptors, bypassing the extraction from leaves or other natural resources.... Well, we are just starting. Its a good development! |
kandiikane: Sierra leone. Its Gambia joor! |
igbeke: yeah!u mean MAULAG... |
Saintsquare: Heard the story and av seen the video of the shrine. She's not from Ogun state, she was going back to Ethiopia when she died in Ijebu. Why is nobody talking about where she was coming from that she will have to pass Ijebu to reach Ethiopia?! |
sexkillz: Actually, this nonsense will make a very good movie! Seriously! 'the tomb of SHEBA'...coming soon!! |
Now, I dont see anybody mentioning Tom Clancy. Mayb I missed the posts. Tom Clancy's book educate! There was one he spent like a page and half describing a bomb about to detonate, plenty scientific jargon! Who's read the Hunt for the Red October?
Thats why i dont really fancy him...too many things i dont need. The guy go describe submarine and jet fighter so tay...u go find them beside u! |
Cuddlemii: That's very simple, you are a housewifelol!..kinda true. |

dnawah: The Sahara by clive cussler....i guess they stopped the series. Sisi; Angel of Death; Rich girl poor boy; sweet revenge; bloodbath @ ?lobster close. They were good then |
Reference: 'Random Factor' - Mark Tiedemann - 1978. Everything I've read and I mean everything from Uris, Forsyth, Ludlum, Clancy, you name it, pales into absolute insignificance. You simply cannot put this novel down. How I got a copy, I cannot remember. It was never officially published and after more than 15 years of searching cannot find it to buy. 50k for a legible copy. Will love to get my hand on that if it is as good as u said...but i doubt it. |
lekkie073: the fact dat other authors are using ludlum's name to sell their novels show how exceptional he is in d art of storytelling. just like if u dont read bourne identity, d film will be crappy to uVery true... I prefer the books to the film. Same for Da Vinci Code but i understand. Imagination better than audiovisuals. |
you are right. That novel is a masterpiece. I will also recommend u read '' the runaway jurry '' and '' rage of angels '' by sidney sheldon. I think sidney and grisham are my best novelists
Av read those ones. Sidney Sheldon...i cant choose one o. If tomorrow comes, Master of the game and maybe Tell me you dreams. |
adexsimply: pure rubbish? robert ludlum never wrote a book that's a write-off.. believe me ..he neva did.. matarese countdown is as intriguing as matarese circleI enjoyed Ludlum till pple started writing with his name or with him....it was crappy! |
firestar: Oh! I just remembered this novel written by one 'sick' African American....The 'Milk in my cofee series'... Now, that's raw in every sense of real or is it the other way round?the king and queen of raw are Harold Robbins and Jackie Collins! Always feel i av 'sinned' after reading their books...but they are very good writers. The 'Users'...anybody heard of that? Read it a long time ago and it was raw then, maybe not now. Will check out the milk in coffee series |
njokusboy: The genesis code by john case is d bestTot i was thru with John Grisham but i just saw the confessor and the appeal here. I rate Archer and Sheldon above Grisham...because they are more diverse in their characters and plots. Grisham is usually law except painted house and bleachers. |
