With the increase in the rate of homosexuality and lesbianism in Nigeria, I keep wondering if Nigeria is going to allow this lifestyle to exist in peace being legal. Nigeria is a homophobic country but still has the highest population of homosexuals and lesbians in Africa. Foreign celebrities are coming out of their closet everyday, from musician to actors, tv host and a whole lot more, the most recent to come out is Prison Break’s Wentworth Miller, in his letter to Russians. These people come out in peace even though they’ve been hiding it but they still came out and so many accepted them the way they are despite the critics and it is legal in their country though… This brings me to my home country Nigeria, (sigh) I asked myself who is going to be the first Nigerian Celebrity to come out? Who is going to be bold to overcome the shame and rejection after coming out of the closet? We all know there are so many gays and lesbians in the entertainment industry, we here rumors of so many of these celebrities, even though they are denying it sha, we hear they do this thing behind and they are crazy about it, I don’t wanna start mentioning names but I can still give few clues, like the ex-soundcity presenter, former bba winner and his close pal, the light musician that always wear cap and his starboy protege, the popular tomboy musician and so many of them. I guess it is the fear of 14 years imprisonment or the shame that is holding them back, staying behind, doing it secretly and enjoying it with fear. I really can’t wait to see that day that an actor will come on tv show an say “I am gay”, I wonder how Nigerians are going to handle such confession. What do you think? Posted By Tosin Silver Dam. Hmmm! Plz ooo, before you will start saying Tosin is gay or posting gay stuff, its my job to give out what’s happening in the society (True life story). Well, this actually happened to a friend’s friend, his kid sister who is a student of Unilag got impregnated by his former gay partner way back in secondary school days. This my friend’s friend is a final year student of North American University in Benin, so just last week he discovered his kid sister is pregnant and the dude that impregnated her was his former gay lover in high school day, which the school is an all boys school, a popular school sef and they were boarding student, even the dude was his senior like 2 years senior way back in high school. So, now they actually saw each other last week when his sister brought the dude to their house, the dude works in a reputable bank and he is ready to marry his sister. Now, my friend’s friend is now confused and mad over the whole issue, he doesn’t know what to do. The dude that impregnated his sister has been calling him trying to plead with him not to expose their shameful act… I heard it was this dude that disvirgined that my friend’s friend homosexually and he also disvirgined the sister too, choi! I even heard they used too have sex gan before the dude graduated since he was his senior and ever since they never met again till last week that he discovered that his secondary school gay lover is his brother-in- law… Azzin! What advice can you give this my friend’s friend abeg? Posted By Tosin Silver Dam. tosinsilverdam./2013/08/04/my-kid-sister-is-pregnant-for-my-secondary-schl-gay-partner/ |
