You can't bring yourself to criticise him. Simple as that.

A brief history. Buhari said fuel subsidy is fraud. He said he doesn't understand fuel subsidy. From 2011 to 2015, he refused to attend the Council of State meeting where he could have been better enlightened on the subject. He kept on inciting the populace against the government of the day while collecting his dues as a former head of state without carrying out the responsibilities therein.

Actually, Buhari was right.

What Buhari was alluding to was the lack of transparency, fraud, etc. The amount stolen almost rivaled the subsidy itself that the removal would have been better. Though I admit he exaggerated a bit, that's Politics. He's a politician. Politicians use hyperbole as a tool, it's necessary in politics.

According to findings by Reuters, Buhari was proven right. SEE SCREENSHOTS..

Inciting the people? That he protested the fraud doesn't mean he incited anyone. See how Buhari is being systematic in the removal, several relevant bills in place. Compared to PDP's abrupt approach.
