Sir pls I said you have to confirm with your employer the english language requiremnt they want from you. Some professions eg medicine no longer have to present english language documents for visa application. Pls confirm from the ppl first
U can’t have a tier 2 visa without employment offer pls.

Oh alright now I understand, thanks for the clarification. I'm in still searching for jobs from verified tier 2 sponsors, my skill is graphic design which is under the skill shortage list.

U have to show evidence of English yes.
When you get a Certificate of sponsorship by an employer you must confer/confirm with them what English document you might need if at all.
U cant add girlfriend or fiancee per say as a dependent. They however accept wife or civil partner. Google up how to solidify your claims that someone is a civil partner.

Thanks for your swift response, according to your statement, I don't have to write IELTS exam, I just need to show documents that I have knowledge of English (like my BSc and Waec)?

As a Nigerian, IELTS is a mandatory requirement when applying for a Tier 2 Visa.

A girlfriend can get a dependant Tier 2 Visa. But if your relationship is legal, like you have a government issued document to prove civil partnership with your girlfriend then it will be allowed.
