CareerHow Confidence Can Increase Your Productivity by Simeonmalachy(op): 9:03am On Mar 07, 2023
What is the most important factor in achieving success? For entrepreneurs, it’s all about being confident in yourself and your abilities. Confidence can be a powerful tool that can increase productivity, focus and dedication to reach goals. Let’s explore how confidence can help you become the best entrepreneur possible.

Written by Sang Peters

The Power of Self-Confidence

Having self-confidence means trusting in your own capabilities. It doesn’t mean being overly cocky or arrogant – it just means believing that you have what it takes to succeed. With self-confidence comes a sense of clarity and purpose which enables you to achieve goals with ease.

When you trust yourself, you don’t waste time worrying about making mistakes or if you are good enough for the job. You can achieve more when self-doubt is taken out of the equation.

The Benefits of Increased Productivity

When entrepreneurs are confident in their abilities, they become more productive because they are no longer afraid to take chances and try new things. They also become better problem solvers because they don’t let fear stop them from coming up with solutions to challenges. As a result, they can make more progress in less time while staying focused on their goals and objectives as an entrepreneur.

Christianity EtcSecrets On How To Understand Humans More Than Ever Before by Simeonmalachy(op): 5:05pm On Feb 28, 2023
Sometimes you just want to talk to someone who understands you, someone who understands your fails, your complexities and not necessarily spare you some form of judgment but just to simply understand your person.

We are often judgemental so it's easier for more people you meet to judge you than otherwise. Humans generally drift towards ease or easier options than otherwise. The majority of us tend to toe the path of easy and less resistance.

We judge through evaluations, taking sides, having an opinion, offering counsel or piece of advice, giving a perspective, not letting go, and the like.

HealthRemember To Breathe by Simeonmalachy(op): 8:17am On Feb 28, 2023
Hi there, trust all is well with you? How's your mental health? Today is a perfect day to remind you that, no one is entitled to a life of absolute peace and happiness.

Life will happen to you at some point; it could be a financial loss, pain, illness, betrayal, conflict, etc and you have to be reminded that situations like these are an opportunity to think outside the box, grow, and build more capacity mentally, emotionally, financially, spiritually, etc.

Bad situations always come with purpose and lessons.

The truth is, affirmations and positive declarations are a great way to live an intentional life, but assuming that everything in life will be rosy at all times isn't plausible.

Unfortunate situations and circumstances are inevitable.

You cannot pray yourself from entering those times, the holy books of all major religions of the world record that life is in seasons.

The utopian life is unrealistic in this present world, I believe we will have it in the afterlife if we live a morally upright life in this world.

Good people will have bad experiences at some point, bad people will have good experiences at a certain point, that's a natural order.

Do not beat yourself up when you are in a tough phase. Don't walk away from your core values because of life's challenges and troubles, except your core values are inhumane and unlawful.

Build your mental strength to handle life's difficult phases.

Joseph Ayeni once said, "Perseverance toughens our mental muscles. A man cannot amount to much without the virtue of long-suffering. This truth is not for all men to receive"

Life is in seasons and as long as you are alive, you will go through all seasons of life.

Try your best to master your emotions and stay sane in difficult situations because life will test you, it's inevitable.

What to do when life happens:

1. Talk to people: When you are in a phase when almost everything isn't working, talk to people in your inner circle. Their emotional support and care will go a long way in helping you stay strong in those times.

Don't Isolate.

2. Seek help: If it's a financial loss, you should request a loan or financial support from a few friends; some will help and some may not. Some may not because they can't afford it and you have to take the No in good faith.

Importantly, don't make a habit out of this or become entitled.

Support your inner circle in other ways you can.

3. Understand times and seasons: When life happens to you, don't beat yourself up, learn the basic lessons and look for ways to apply those lessons to your life for profit and growth.

Document some details because your story may give hope to some people when you decide to share it someday.

In your season of plenty, be humane, show kindness, save, invest, and build relationships.

4. Affirmations and positive declaration: Words have roots, and when used wisely and deliberately and backed with intentional actions, they come alive in the physical realm.

Use words wisely in your season of lack and pain. Consistently remind yourself that you will come out stronger and better, again don't beat yourself up.

5. Meditation and Prayer: Meditation and prayer during tough times are to gain strength from the supernatural. Don't trivialize meditation and prayers.

Meditate daily. Pray daily.

6. Remember to Breathe: On your dark days, you may have thoughts that if you act on them, you will cut short your life, if you ever get to that point, seek therapy, and remember to breathe.

If you are currently going through a lot, here is a word for you 'Every broken line in your life will become a beautiful map someday.' Hold on and keep the faith.

Bad situations always come with purpose and lessons. You will figure this out in no time.

I would recommend you read this book: Ruthless Trust by Brennan Manning.

Ruthless Trust: The Ragamuffin's Path to God, helped me greatly in one of the darkest phases of my life.

It's a masterpiece, just as you are.

You know what? I'm proud of you already.

I'm rooting for your success in all areas of life.

You are Greatness. You are Enough.

Go to your mirror and feed its starving eyes with your balanced diet beauty.

If the mirror could talk with words, here is what it would to you "You are a perfectly designed creature, remind yourself of this reality before me on a regular.

When life hits hard and tries to steal your joy, smile in front of me and remind yourself that you will come out of the phase with an extra dimension of beauty and purpose."

You could also write some notes on your wall for daily recitation. This is a powerful weapon you should have in your arsenal.

2. Read Books: Books are wells of wisdom that will fill you up from your soul to the brim of your lips and make you become a source of water to thirsty minds.

Read books on purpose, self-awareness, and personal discovery. Here are a few books I would recommend you start reading this week:

3. Being the Best Version of You – A Journal for Emotional Intelligence by Charlotte Moore

4. The Four Agreements by Don Miguel Ruiz

Get these books and start reading one chapter of each of them per day.

This week feed your mind with good content. One of the ways to do this

Christianity EtcRe: Christians Engaging In Premarital Sexual Relations Before Marriage, Is It Okay? by Simeonmalachy(m): 2:41pm On Dec 27, 2015
winner01:
Introduction
Common "wisdom" says that living together in a "trial marriage" is a good way to determine if couples are compatible before marriage. A companion paper, based upon scientific studies, shows that this idea is false. Many Christians seem to have bought into the secular idea that as long as one is "in love" it doesn't matter if couples live together (and engage in premarital sex). The problem is that many times "love" fails, and Christians end up moving from one relationship to another. This paper examines what the Bible says about living together before marriage, for those who claim to be Christians.

Biblical love isn't a feeling
Most people think that love is that elated, "high" feeling we get when we "fall in love." This kind of "love" is something that lasts typically less than a year. Most couples decide to live together during this period of time when their decisions are often based upon emotions and passions. According to the Bible love "rejoices with the truth... always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres... never fails". One will notice from this description that love isn't what you get from someone, it is something you give to someone. The Bible confidently says that love never fails, because as long as these things are done, love cannot fail. However, if we are interested in getting rather than giving, then selfishness always succeeds in shipwrecking a relationship.

Sexual relationships and the Bible
The doctrine of keeping sexual relationships within the bounds of marriage is so important that it is spelled out in the second chapter of the first book of the Bible (Genesis 2). The marriage covenant is spelled out in the original narrative that describes the meeting of the first man and first woman:

For this cause a man shall leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave to his wife; and they shall become one flesh. And the man and his wife were both naked and were not ashamed. (Genesis 2:24-25)

The Bible actually encourages married couples to enjoy their sexual relationships within marriage. The New Testament confirms that sexual relations within a marriage is not sinful. Paul says that those who marry have not sinned. The writer of the book of Hebrews states, "Marriage should be honored by all, and the marriage bed kept pure," indicating that sexual relations within marriage are "pure" and not sinful.

Old Testament laws about sex
The Bible has a lot of bad things to say about being a harlot. In fact, it was so frowned upon in Jewish society that, among all the laws in the Old Testament, spiritual unfaithfulness (idolatry) is compared to harlotry. These days, people tend to think of harlots as those who engage in multiple sexual relationships. However, the Old Testament indicates that engaging in even one sexual relationship before marriage (i.e., not being a virgin) makes one a harlot. Engaging in consensual sexual relations with a married person was a capital offense, and those who were found guilty (both the male and female) were executed. Consensual sexual relations between an unmarried man and unmarried woman resulted in the man being fined and required to marry the woman without the possibility of any future divorce. Essentially, there was no premarital sex, since once you were caught you were married.

New Testament laws about sex
The New Testament confirms the laws of the Old Testament. Specifically, adultery is condemned, even including mental adultery, incest, and homosexuality. Other sexual sins, including premarital sex, are condemned through a couple Greek words (the original language of the New Testament) that can refer to a number of sexual sins, depending upon context. These words are porneia and pornos, from which the English word "pornography" is derived. English Bibles will translate these words different ways, so it is important to know some of the ways in which the words are translated. For example, the New American Standard translates the words as "fornication" (e.g., premarital sexual relations) and sometimes as "immoral persons," which seems to be some kind of generic immorality, although it specifically refers to sexual immorality. Other English words used to describe premarital sex include "unchastity." The fact that these words refer to premarital sexual relations can be seen in the Pharisees answer to Jesus, where they insinuated that He was born of fornication. The severity of this kind of sin can be seen in the descriptions of what will happen to people who practice sexual immorality at the judgment.

The New Testament directly states that sexual activity is to be restricted to marriage in the book of Hebrews, where it condemns both adultery (engaging in sexual relations with a non-spouse while married) and fornication (engaging in sexual relations before marriage):

Marriage is to be held in honor among all, and the marriage bed is to be undefiled; for fornicators and adulterers God will judge. (Hebrews 13:4)

Conclusion
Premarital sexual relationships are strongly condemned in both the Old Testament and New Testament of the Bible. Therefore, Christians who engage in premarital sex are breaking God's laws and are not following Jesus Christ. Under such practices, God is not honored, and both yours and your partner's walk with Christ is hampered. In addition, one's witness for Jesus is nullified, since even non-believers know that living together before marriage is not what a Christian should do. If you are involved in this kind of relationship, you need to repent and start living according to biblical standards. It is not okay for a Christian to keep living a sinful lifestyle, including sexual intimacy before marriage.

God bless you
