"When the Police do anything wrong, society is always quick to speak out and condemn such actions publicly. Therefore, it is equally important that we use the same energy, sincerity, and public platform to appreciate and commend the Police whenever they carry out their duties professionally and effectively." The leadership and members of the Isokan Community Development Association, Obada Oko wish to specially appreciate the Nigeria Police Force, particularly the Divisional Police Officer of Obada Oko Division, CSP Alao Abdulazeez, for his swift, professional, and commendable response to a criminal incident that occurred within ISOKAN CDA, Ewekoro Local Government Area of Ogun State. On Tuesday, 12th May 2026, at approximately 2:34 p.m., a suspect identified as Yemi Oladipupo was caught in the act of vandalizing a residential building belonging to Mrs Adewunmi Temitope within the Isokan community. Through the collective effort and vigilance of community members, the suspect was apprehended and subsequently confessed to the crime. Upon receiving the case, the Divisional Police Officer, CSP Alao Abdulazeez, handled the matter promptly and professionally. After preliminary interrogation, he assigned the investigation and prosecution process to Woman Inspector Olasile Aina, who carried out her responsibilities diligently, professionally, and without bias. The case was properly investigated and charged in court accordingly. During the court proceedings, the suspect admitted and confessed to the offences against him and was consequently sentenced to eighteen (18) calendar months imprisonment on the two charges filed against him.
