Sometimes you click on the link and it leads you to Whatsapp, that's is it. it's the simplest way to start online business, you don't have to code or have a laptop to get started all you need is a Smartphone and internet connection.

Before I Start, note that the only valuable asset in any online business is list( list of people on the platform).
So I will show you how Affiliate Marketing business works in three sinaros and the reasons why it works.

1. You make your audience aware of your offering by posting content or an ad on Facebook or YouTube or Google, you then offered a free class on the product you are selling, your target audience click the post with call to action or an ad, it directs them to the group chat, you host the class, start the training and ends it, now your leads ( to be customer) are not satisfied with the training they want to solve their problem very fast, this is where you offer the product you are selling.

2. You click an ad, showing you free ebook, for you to access that ebook you need to put your email address, phone number and name on the page called squeeze page to access the ebook, so what they do after the ebook is to be communicating with you via WhatsApp or email and then offer you a product you can't say no to, this is WhatsApp marketing or email marketing. First you build relationships with the lead and then sell.

3. You saw a post on social media that got you so interested and you dm or click on the available link the person provide, the person either offer a free training or video or book at the end of this, the Affiliate marketer offers his/ her products.

Affiliate Marketing enables you to sell the product you don't have to earn a commission.

Reasons why it works.
1. It works because people are in need of specific product to solve their problem.
2. It's works because Google search is generic in answers.
3. The main reason it works is because they want to end their pain of being broke, how to invest, love ( how to find who to marry, divorced problem, dating guide etc.) health related problems.

How do I make my millions of naira through Affiliate Marketing.

By having a large lists of people, 50 people on your list of 100 can make you rich.
The larger your list the larger your income.
If your commission is 10k and 50 people purchased from you, you will be having 500k, if you increase the list you increase your income.

So what is Affiliate Marketing.

Affiliate Marketing is simply selling someone else product to get a commission, the commission is fixed, so when you sell the product from the platform ( Affiliate network) you earn your commission.
You can sell digital product or physical product but note that digital product has more profit margin on it commission 40% 50% 73% while physical product has low margin on it commission 3% 4% 5% reason because, it requires manufacturing and shipping cost so the margin is always low .

Affiliate Networks.
Affiliate network is the platform or online store you get the product to sell, first you have to register and after registration you can start to sell.
Some of the platform are free some you will make some payment to start, but I recommend the free one because that's what I use.
How do you take the product to sell, you do that by copying your Affiliate link to ready to pay customer you have in your funnel.

I will be explaining the building blocks of Affiliate marketing. They are;
1. Understanding your ideal customer.
2. Product ( niche selection) and the market.
3. Traffic.
4. Sales funnel ( sales process and the automation).

1. Understanding your ideal customer.
When you try to sell to everyone, you end up selling to no one. You become invisible... Just making noise.
When you know your ideal customer, you will be able to:
a. Create products that will have her saying " take my money".

b. Create a marketing strategy and copy - that has her looking at your business and thinking " she gets me" - she is for me- I need more of this.

c. Position your business in such a way that you become a magnet to this person and everyone like her.

d. Understand exactly what type of content to post on social media to keep her coming back for more.

If you don't know who you are speaking to, you won't know what to say or how to bring value to them.
Here is an example of ideal customer image.
Sarah.
1. Age- 25
2. Middle income - 50k to 100k.
3. Entry level professional
4. Family - married or single
5. Numbers of kids.
6. Value fun, love, authenticity.
7. Enjoys watching comedy, going for shopping, enjoys party etc.
8. Interest- what she likes.

2. Product ( niche selection) and the market.
A starving crowd is important.
There are evergreen markets that never dies in the world of marketing, they are wealth ( make money online, finances, stock market, real estate), health (losing weight, skin care, food and nutrition, diabetes, gym, pain killer, dentist) , love ( sex, marriage, dating, friendship, love making) and travelling ( scholarship abroad, japa to Canada, to America, to UK, etc.).

These are evergreen market.

So we will be going to the next and most important building block on the list.

3. Traffic
Traffic are people, traffic is the lifeblood of any business, the more people the more money, the little people the little money. Why is Lagos city good for business because of many population in the city.
So they are three types of traffic;
A. Traffic you own.
B. Traffic you control
C. Traffic you don't control.

A. Traffic you own: is the traffic that you have their email, phone number, name. These people you share valuable information to them, they are the most important type of traffic. You have to build your lists of phone numbers and email here, if you have quality relationship with them and offer them your product they will easily buy. You will ask how we the Affiliate marketers make large amounts of money, we simply have 500,1000,2000 phone numbers and emails who are buying from us. If the product you are selling is 10k and your commission is 5k, 5k * 500 = 2.5 millionaire.
You can be doing that weekly or monthly. That's it.

B. Traffic you control.
You control traffic when you have the ability to tell it where to go. E.g if I purchase an advertising space on Facebook, I don't own that traffic ( Facebook does) but I can control it by buying an ads and sending those who click on the ad anywhere I want. Example are ads from Facebook, YouTube, Google, banner ad embedded on a website etc).
The goal is always to send any traffic that I am going to purchase via ad to a type of website we call " a squeeze page"( can be built freely on phone).
This squeeze page is a simple page with the goal to convert traffic you control into traffic you own.


C. Traffic you don't control; this last type of traffic just shows up, I don't have any control over where it goes. Example is your Facebook profile, Twitter handle, Instagram.
This is called organic traffic there are methods to have this type of traffic turns to the traffic you own.
It will take time and energy, it's worth it because you will be having many followers or subscribers.

Let move to the last block.

4. Sales funnel ( sales process and automation setup)

Sales funnel - this is the process you take your prospect from social media and turn's them to a customer.

In sales funnel, there's the top called awareness.
You either create awareness through posting or buying ads.
The next is interest
Next is consideration
The final is conversion.

The conversion is always small compared to the interest, pick up a physical funnel, the top is large and the bottom is small yet effective.

3. Advert= squeeze page= landing page= email list= WhatsApp.
4. Advert= landing page= opt-in page= webinar.
