guy my X5 come in today ...chaii..this phone is the BOMB..I swear...updated to pie no problem.....the battery is wonderful....charged it 100percent and played pubg on medium HD graphics for 2hrs+ ended up with 43percent.....WORTH EVERY PENNY

ah guy I won't lie to you na x6 me sef dey chase until jumia come alert me of flash sale then I saw x5 for half the price of the x6 39k plus shipping fee I come dey reason the x5...I did my research well oo on the phone YouTube self tire for my hand I ask multiple users of the phone on nairaland and they highly recommended it for me so when the flash sale came I ordered then I used small out of the remaining change to order a wireless type c charger , Samsung earphones, 32gb memory card , screen guard and phone case ...and had remaining change of 22k ...as you see me now am happy oo cause every thing will be coming home on Wednesday and its pay on delivery

I for one would choose Helio P60 (X5) over Snapdragon 450 (Y7 Prime) anyday... That aside, X5 is an Android One phone, meaning you'd get regular updates and security patches for the phone for atleast 2yrs, X5 already is on Android 9 Pie and will Definitely get Android 10 Q,.. Y7 prime is still on Android 8.1... X5 is using Type C charger, T7 prime is using the normal USB... I think I'd personally prefer X5 (5.1plus) to Y7 prime

The key difference is there's no Google play service in X5. Google, of course, does not operate in China. That's why you won't see Android one on the pack.
The solution then is that when you buy from some sellers on Jumia, like AprilStory, the global version of the android software is installed before shipping.
And all you'll do is update to Android pie and enjoy the phone like 5.1 plus.

And then again, SAVEDBABA got his without Google play service but was still able to install play store and operate it normally.

After your update, your phone is automatically 5.1 plus as you'll see when you go to settings.

yes....once you boot the phone for the first time you will be asked to choose language, you will see english and madarin,you should choose english except you will like to learn mandarin before you can operate your phone you can choose mandarin lol.

i actually bought the chinese variant with china stock rom,it comes with app store which has just madarin,i just searched for google playstore on the app store downloaded and i have been using the phone normally

Now a proud owner of this beast and I want to point out some things other folks skipped


First is that Nokia lied..... The battery isn't 3060mAh, its 4000mAh cos judging from my usage as I used my former hot 4 lite, I can boldly say the battery is solid

Another thing is the audio output quality on earphones, its so epic. I don't know if its my earphones or my music app equaliser but i fell in love with the sounds this machine is producing
