What she just did is 4multisyllabic rhyming right there. Its an advanced form of rhyming, bro.

As for the vocab thingy, you don't need to dumb down shiit to relate to us. We are all educated and brilliant. All we ask for is to build well and land well. Be very creative. You can't speak all the english and drop weak punchlines. It won't get you no where. Choice of words are done carefully to execute each line perfectly.

Okay.. The mistake is from me then, cos i thought if a word ends in "pride", the next quatrain must end with matching end words like in this case, something like 'snide'.

If you'd take my advice, I'd say don't give up yet. Your kick-off is far doper than Ksslib's, but look at him today. A few months back, Laykorn was just a no-rhyming poet but go look at his last battle....dude was doing four-syllabic rhymes.
We all have a beginning in this textcee business and we were all once wack. Consistency and perseverance did it for us. So don't say it's tough, coz it's not.

I don't think i'll do well cos of my excessive grammar. i don't know to keep it simple like you guys. I'm so complex. Maybe if i get my mojo back, i might consider doing it again.

that aside.. i need some clarifications. You once said the rhymes in a quatrain must match the final punchline, but many of Gladys' quatrains didn't match... or am i wrong?

No wonder. i love brain-straining wordplays and punchlines. Words you've to google to have an insight of it. When Ibime played "tha homey" for "Dahomey" or "ma lack eye" for "Malachi", it gave me a WOW moment. Simple is too basic.
