Those calling him spineless and beg beg militant do not actually know him. He was a militant per excellence (lol). It was his catch during the days of MEND, that forced the government of olusegun obasanjo to agree to the release of Alhaji Asari Mujahid Dokubo, who had been arrested earlier by the federal government.. He is one of the few ex-militants that successfully transited from militancy to a settled life, eventually becoming a politician. He has been a critic of the Wike administration since 2019. That said, his National Rescue Movement party of which he is the flagbearer for the governorship polls, is little known and won't really matter in the scheme of things as its popularity is limited to the Kalabari speaking axis of the state..Only thing it can do is share votes in those areas with the APC candidate- Tonye Cole who is also from that area..This is even to the advantage of Wike unfortunately.. |

Surely, what goes around comes around...We were all witnesses to the fight staged by Atiku in 2015, to prevent the return of then President- Goodluck Jonathan . This is karma at its best! |
This merger if and when it happens, will be the game changer...For Peter obi, it would be the platform he needs to make in-roads into the north. I see it happening: Kwankwanso stepping down to become obi's number two, and then going on from there to fulfill his "life" ambition in the voice of a particular presidential candidate! I'm Obidient! |
Truth be told though, the PDP should have considered the many sacrifices Wike had made for the party to remain standing...He did'nt help his case though with his utterances and lack of tact which fetched him many enemies... Its their cup of tea though... on Obi's mandate we stand! |
