Evening to everyone here, U guys have saved me the stress of paying some dumb ass called agent. Them too no pass Naija ooo.
My question is, all schools I'm to apply to are asking for sample of thesis and to be realistic the time is not worth to be trampled on. I'm asking this to know if I can use my undergraduate degree project as an alternative as the sample of thesis. This thing strong ooo cos I can't withstand writing unprofessional research sample work.
I'm a sociologist though and willing to apply to Uni Mannheim, Siegen and Goettigen. Kindly help me address this as application is due to close soon and wants to send the documents once. Got no dough to waste for sending single applications.

Critics, advice and best bet, any one in my field too can pm me to know how far from them.

I would be glad I get the best advice and orientation on this.

U didn't specify what programme u applied for. But by thesis I believe you are going for PhD and they are asking for ur MSc thesis which I also believe u will have. So it's quite simple. Just send ur MSc thesis to them and continue with ur application

I think there is no time to write English test again because admissions deadlines appear to be at hand.

Last week thursday makes it exactly 4 weeks after my interview, and im yet to hear from the embassy. Do i need to be worried ? My enrollment deadline is 20th April.
The waiting is killing men. Hoping for the best!

just so you know even an issued visa can still be revoked/refused after issuance if new evidence comes to light pertaining your application same applies to all applications regardless of it being a week old or more so after 2 weeks of processing does not guarantee visa issuance rather the odds are increased but still subject to certain decisions

rejection after a few days or one week - comes from the Nigerian embassy probably due to poor interview, unable to convince the visa officer that you are indeed a student so there are doubts as to your study intentions, fraudulent documents,enrolment deadline, inadequate time for processing your application etc

rejection after two weeks or more - usually comes from the aliens authority / auslanderbehorde though if you are lucky you get asked additional questions for clarification on certain issues but usually due to the embassy report on your application even though it was still forwarded, finance related issues etc
if rejected after this extended processing period by the Nigerian embassy then it is likely failure to fund after a set deadline and not withdrawing your application or some new information.
These reasons are not limited to the above but just examples of what may have occurred.

i think there is nothing wrong with waiting for the funding email as it usually arrives from a few hours after to a few days after the interview but given[b/] the fact that some people can still be refused after a week or max two weeks waiting for this period to go by before funding will still be a good idea[/b] unless of course you have very little time left for processing because getting your money back after funding and then your application is refused can be stressful unless of course one plans to reapply.

Do u mean, from the green quote of ur response, that most visa reject mostly come between this period one to two weeks after interview and anything after 2weeks is visa issuance.? And how authentic is this info or is it based on observation from this thread. Please clarify this @gurus in the house.

Birth certificate: I used local government registration of birth since I was born before 1990.

Biographically old doc.: She didn't really asked that though I presented my very old nursery certificate having my pix when I was seven.

Passport photograph: check their site for the spec coz u might be sent out to take another one. I bet u wouldn't like that.

Interview is on Monday, I have filled the application form but I need some clarifications with the Questionnaire.

I am to fill it with a system according to the instruction on the form right?

Where do I put my name? cos the only place that carries the name field is under Baptism - (Name, date of Baptism and address of the church) but I am a Muslim.

The field right before the baptism column is clickable, is that where I write my name? I'm confused please those that recently did interview should please respond to this.

Moreover, the passport I took has light gray background, not as wide as the US passport size and the top button of the shirt I wore showed. Please is that the corect size?

Just writ ur name at the baptism side, thats what i did and im a Muslim too.
although i was not asked to submit it. the lady just looked at it and returned it back to me.
i used the checklist on the german site buut it was not entirely followed.

i jst had my student interview yesterday, please house how long does it take German Embassy to issue visa to student as my session starts this summer.
My school is OVGU, anyone who is going to same school this summer?

yes you can use the slip you got from the embassy to schedule your appointment via email and to apply for the student visa as well and do that immediately by sending an email with your scanned passport data page, admission letter and DB account opening slip as PDF to student@lago.diplo.de Furthermore, as you are married your documentary evidence to that effect automatically becomes part of the required documents.

Hello Everyone,

I just submitted my documents for block account opening in the german embassy on 1st Feb. and i was given an Original slip after the consulate had confirmed and notarised my signature.

Can i use this slip to apply for the student visa while waiting for the block account opening confirmation from Deustch Bank.
Also do i need to include my marriage certificate in the visa requirement docs (though it was not part of the required docs).

Please help answer a newbie. i am to resume Otto-Von-Guericke Universitat by this April.

Me too. I gave my pencil light 1999 to my step brother and bought 2008 camry muscle.
Yet I still prefer it to my muscle. In short, if u want to use a car and you don't want to bother too much buy pencil, but if u like efisy buy one Big car for occasional outing and pencil for routine movement.

Step one, go to o their site check their terms and conditions of admission and acceptance conditions.

Step two, study the weakness in the terms that apply to ur situation and quote this weakness in their next communication with u. Send their textbooks back to them and if they claim they dint see it tell them u did not receive any textbooks sent by them then. At least u dint sign with the delivery man who u received it

Step three, be bold in your reply and tell them not to contact you again unless u will report them to law enforcement agencies

Steep four ignore their calls and messages, if it increases change ur email and phone number. If possible leave ur present physical address. Na naija we dey u become untraceable to them.

Good luck with whichever method u choose above. But be sure there's nothing they can do.

I have been following and reading this thread from part 3 till I finally finished reading yesternight. This is what I will call unity u guys are really on point. I remember users justwise and chrisgo without having to check names.
This is my story.
I was admitted to u of w around 2012 in canada and was given admission with even opportunity to work in their undergraduate lab in jan 2013(I included in my sop I will like to be given opportunity if there space for it) the admission and offer letter was sent via mail and I received the hardcopies. I accepted the admission but couldn't go due to some circumstances beyond my control. Note: I didn't even bother to apply for student visa then so it wasn't denial reason.
I attempted deferment but the lady in charge said I will have to reapply again. I dint like that response but had no choice.
Now I have make up my mind and decided to apply again to same school, I included in my application that I have applied before for same course and will like to be considered based on my last evaluation and recent personal update (coz I've successfully completed a personal research at work and presently working on another that is progressing) since my course is research based. So my old candidate number was given to me again, different from other applicants number, and am waiting for their admission decision which I am very positive about. Fall 2016

now my questions are:
Am arranging to visit a cousin in USA in February next year in order to boost my chance at Canadian embassy, is it a right step incase I'm given visa? Though am planning to come back naija.
Secondly my admission offer may not come until February 2016 and my passport will expire by October 2016, how do I do it?

Third, I am planning going thru an agent a friend got visa thru and she's going by January 28th,do u think its a good idea for me too.?
