Kenya has over 540 chartered tertiary institutions including 51 universities. That's 1 university per 881,000 people. How many has Nigeria?
51 universities? We have close to 200 universities in nigeria.

Like I said we are not in your league.

Two of the most significant and biggest project in africa.

The Nigeria-Morocco pipeline will have a positive impact on over 300 million inhabitants, Bourita said, noting that it would speed up electrification projects across West Africa, and serve as a basis for the creation of a competitive electricity regional market.

http://northafricapost.com/17865-nigeria-morocco-gas-pipeline-project-taking-shape.html

He said the project would be the single largest stream in the world.
“The refinery and fertiliser projects will create job opportunities for the communities and Nigerians when it becomes operational.
“The refinery will have a refining capacity of about 650,000 barrels of crude a day,’’ he said.
Alake said the project would force down the price of Premium Motor Spirit (petrol) in the country and save money spent on importation.
He said that projects such as these would optimise government revenue and wean Nigeria from relying solely on oil.

What’s more, Africa as a whole is experiencing a major surge in eCommerce . A recent report by Internet World has shown a huge increase in ‘Googling’ throughout the country, with Nigeria coming out top.
With IT and Software companies experiencing major growth, and Media and Professional services closely behind – it seems every sector is being well represented across this diverse country as it continues to develop at a very fast pace.
Nigeria is already the largest mobile market in Africa – Already ranked The World’s Highest Facebook Mobile Penetration country.

Muafrika2:
Feel free to back up your rants with facts.
What facts? That america can't be compared with UAE,BRUNEI. That Nigeria can't be compared with kenya. Trying to compare a country like nigeria to kenya is a sign of ignorance.
It is visible to anyone with a brain.

The person responsible for creating this thread need to have his mental faculty checked out.

Why, would someone in a good state of mind be comparing Nigeria to kenya, what is this a joke, kenya i mean seriously kenya to Nigeria?

Most of the argument going on here are even stupid, seriously people can be this ignorant in this age and time, imagine someone saying kenya has a satelitte launch capability, the FFFUK.

Why would an educated and resonable fellow be camparing Nairobi with Lagos, the money, economic activities(formal/informal, legal/illegal) that flows in lagos a day is bigger than that of the entire nation of kenya.

Tell me why would america be comparing itself to brunei.
Why will america compare itself to switzerland.

Why will china compare itself to singapore ,macau.

Why would britain be comparing itself to norway.

Why would south africa comparing itself to mauritainia, namibia.

Why would Nigeria be comparing itself to kenya, ghana, benin, ivory coast.

Why, because we are not in your league.

without it Nigeria is going nowhere.

According to Margaret Lampe of the US Centres
for Disease Control and Prevention, the number
of people living with HIV/AIDS in Nigeria
increased by almost 500,000 in three years,
while the number of AIDS-related deaths also
witnessed a marginal rise to 217,148 within the
same period
. Of particular interest to Jean
Anderson of the Johns Hopkins Medical
Institute, Maryland, was the high rate of
infection through blood transfusion and mother-
to-child transmission, despite the fact that such
forms of transmission are easily preventable.
And according to the UNITED NATION you still lead nigeria in AIDS related death.

That was before Nigeria's time bomb exploded. The UN and WHO now realised that Nigeria could possibly be the AIDS capital.
They are not going to realize anything.
SA has always been the aid capital, Is the AIDS capital, And will always be the aids capital.
Because you people are not putting any prevention methods.
What with yur president believing you will be cured of aids just by taking baths.
Foreign AffairsRe: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by sirjerry(m): 8:05pm On Dec 30, 2014

You are just as outdated as your source. The new stats, Nigeria has surpassed everyone including Zimbabwe to claim the top spot.
