He should be forgiven....we are all humans.....
If christ can forgive our sins, who are we not to forgive others.
let bygone be bygone. Mayrock stop preaching to me and pretending you are a saint. i've seen the hatred and animosity you harbour against the yorubas via your previous posts. stop forming saint. Your heart reeks of hatred. An hateful person cannot teach another person how to forgive. ko le work. |

I was shocked to hear on 12th July, 2013 that Major Hamza Al Mustapha has been discharged and acquitted by the court of appeal in Lagos state presided by Justice Rita Pemu thereby overturning the "Death by hanging" judgement delivered by Justice Mojisola Dada of Lagos state high court after being found guilty of murder. But the question is does he deserve to be free based on the fact that it was obvious that Mustapha masterminded the killing of Kudirat Abiola which he didn't deny outrightly and i remember that Sergeant Roger testified at Oputa Panel that he acted on the order given to him by Mustapha. Apart from Kudirat's assassination, Mustapha was also charged with the attempted murder of Alex Ibru (Publisher of the guardian and Abacha's minister of internal affiars), Abraham Adesanya (Nigerian politician) and Isaac Porbeni (Former naval chief). But how he managed to be discharged and acquitted based on those grievous allegations is what baffles till date and makes me lose interest in our judicial system. Justice Rita Pemu (the presiding judge) accused the lower court of being stroked to secure a conviction by all means. And again i sensed some sorts of "executive interfence", since election was fast approaching that time and the the sitting government desperatly needed the votes from the north to win the election maybe that was why the judgement went that way to win the heart of the northerners, only God knows. I heard last year that Lagos state government planned to challenge the appeal court judgement at the supreme court but nothing much has been heard about it. However Mustapha has been discharged and acquitted and he's now a free man but the memories of the people he killed lives on. Cc: OAM4J, Mynd44, lalasticlala
