I need ya help on this plz. Was given admission in lautech last year via DE and due to their unending upheaval I hope to go for another DE this year. So am thinking if this wouldn't affect my former admission or have any effect on the registration. Thanks in anticipation.

2016/2017 POST UTME SCORING SYSTEM

· WAEC/NECO: A1(6), B2(5), B3(4), C4(3), C5(2), C6(1).

For the five relevant subjects the scores are added together to get G.

Score = (G/30) x 50 = O’level points (50)


For 2 sittings

The first examination based on date is taken as the template for all candidates with two sittings. The deficiency from this template is picked from the second sitting but the points from the second sitting are divided by 2.

Assumed Calculation for ND Cutoff

JAMB = 400
O'Level = 100
Aggregate = JAMB + O'Level 1 /2


All OND Applicants should also check their portal from Monday 31st October, 2016

All HND Applicants should reprinted on 31st October, 2016

I don't know why poly ibadan students are still talking abt regularization when their details has bin updated on jamb website most especially ND full time students of 2014/2015. If u ar nt sure abt dis u can visit jamb site, n check d admission status of d year u sat for jamb

I have been offered admission into OAU to study Electrical/Electronic Engineering.. I'm more dan happy today.. From aspirants to great ife student. Not because of my stupid distinction i had in my ND nor my nonsense performance in OAU post utme. I'm just more dan happy today. Money spent not in vain.. I almost ran mad wen my admission status changed today in jamb website

1 Am saying dis bcus the competition to gain admission into uniilorin tru DE is very high compare to Lautech.......
2 Its a state institution.....which of course as less candidate....
3 i use to hear sum rumors (though i dont know if its true ooooo) that uniilorin usually consider Muslim for admission than Christians

Just finished last year from the polytechnic, Ibadan. Electrical engineering with upper credit and I look forward to doing direct entry into either unilorin or lautech. So I seriously need someone to explain, the school to choose among the two. Thanks
