Politics / Mugabe Ditches Indian Attire At India- Africa Forum Summit by siverspooon(m): 4:14pm On Oct 31, 2015
A group photo by African
presidents adorning Indian attires
at the ongoing India-Africa
Forum Summit in New Delhi,
shows that controversial
Zimbabwean president, Robert
Mugabe is the only African
leader not wearing the attire.
All the leaders stepped out for
the event held on Wednesday,
October 28, wearing the
traditional Indian attire, called
Kurta Sherwani with a waist coat,
except Mugabe who wore a grey
suit, white shirt and black tie.
See the photo below:
All the leaders looked colourful
in the traditional attire including
Nigeria’s president, Muhammadu
Buhari who retained his cap
instead of the traditional Indian
scarf that goes with the attire.

Presidents Buhari and
Mahamadou Issoufou of Niger
Republic share happy moments
at the summit in their Indian
attires
The Zimbabwean president’s
media team hasn’t given any
reasons for Mugabe’s choice of
clothes as at the time of writing
this report.
Although Mugabe’s speech at
the forum seem to have
overshadowed his wardrobe
choice as he delivered a strong
speech where he said India and
Africa are still treated as
underdogs at the United Nations,
while adding that: ”India & Africa
are going to push hard for seats
on the UN Security Council.”
It will be recalled that this is the
third India-Africa Forum Summit
being held as India seeks to
strengthen relations with African
leaders.
54 African nations are taking
part in the summit which is
hosted by India’s Prime Minister
Narendra Modi.
Meanwhile, President Buhari has
warned Indian businessmen that
some of his policies will one way
or the other affect their business
interests in Nigeria .
The president who made the
statement yesterday, October 28,
in New Delhi, however assured
them that despite the fall in oil
prices, his government is
committed to maintaining macro-
economic stability and improving
investor confidence in Nigeria.
Buhari departed Abuja on
Tuesday, October 27, for New
Dehli, India, on a 4-day official
visit. He is expected back into the
country on Friday, October 30.

Politics / Buhari We Voted For You And Not Tinubu And Obasanjo by siverspooon(m): 6:02am On Apr 11, 2015
the just concluded presidential and parliamentary elections has shown that Nigeria is maturing electorally . this is d first time a sitting president will lose an election and still concede defeat . I want to use this forum to advise the president elect GMB to be careful of ppl that surround him. He shld he careful of pips like tinubu obasanjo and atiku . Nigerians have high expectations from u.Sir we voted for u and not for APC and you shld do d needful and write ur name in gold in our hearts. I believe dat as an elder u shldnt be thrilled by what small boys in politics have. pls don't allow obj tinubu atiku and co to ruin ur govt
and sir dont listen to obj about hiring technocrats as they only know how to quote figures and don't care about if its reflecting what's on ground just like okonjo iweala
we shld develop our own economic plan just like china and India. let's forget capitalist economy for now and try Chinese economic model
Sir another issue is that we need to change to a parliamentary system oh govt wia d prime minister will have to debate every economic and sociopolitical issue before he will be authorised to do so. I think it well encourage opposition and strengthen our democracy

shumuel:
To all those that don't believe this list and the amount our Musical Artists are making, let me break the ice for you

Its not that am so sure of the authenticity of the list or could really prove they are making such Amounts but i believe i can work with it to a belief.

Now lets analize the whole thing.

I believe the Money is coming from Youtube, why do i think so ?

If a Nigerian Musical artist could rate Millions on YouTube then i believe they should make such amounts, now let look at it at this point of veiw

1 Single = 1Million veiws

And YouTube pays a Dollar per veiw

1Million veiw = $1Million

$1Million = atleast N150Million

and some of these listed Nigerian Musical Artists has 3-5 Musical Videos that rated above 1Million veiws, so what are we saying

Do the Maths people

The money is not from Album sales but Internet ratings.

I hope this gives you a clue.
u don't know wat u are saying. is youtube paying u for showcasing ur video to d world or are u d one paying dem? is YouTube amazon or iTunes? wia u can buy dis tracks ? all those views on YouTube are free to download and listen to. so don't give me dat crab how many of dem have had any endorsement dat is worth 100million once?
4get all dis dia hyping d problem we have In naija is dat we boast too much if u take d way we brag about our music by now we shld have bin nominated for even a platinium award by any of dis musicians but dey don't even know our music outside of Africa

am not worshipping anybody but am just saying d obvious truth. the west has apologised severally for the slave era but we Africans are d ones dat still speak dat word more often. we even enslave ourselves too because if class. some ppl in Africa have maids at home dat dey enslave without paying dem but over here in west u pay ur house help for her services . so wat do u call dat one too -a woman pouring hot water on her maid?
