I was interviewed yesterday. Risk Advisory unit.

Questions were mostly basic: tell us about yourself, citing things not already captured in your CV; tell us about an impact you have made in your local community, job or anywhere you've found yourself in the past; why would you like to work with us? ; why do you want to work in this service area especially given that you don't have related experience? (depending on your course of study & previous experience); what do you consider your weaknesses & strengths?

If she wants to count from 2016, does she have sufficient evidence to prove she actually did the job during that period?

I was just think since it’s 2 Jobs, it should count.
In terms of evidence from 2016, I highlighted already that she hadn’t registered as a business entity as at then till last year. Does statements of Account count as sufficient evidence ?

Congrats to all that met the cut off. However, I have a question to ask.
Someone started her business, hair styling to be specific (registered September 2019) and she went for NYSC by November 2019 and she’s finishing her NYSC by October this year, would it count as 2 years working experience while applying or they would regard it as 1 year experience. Also note that she has been running the hair styling 2 years (immediately after she got certified in 2016) before she got it registered last year. There are proofs of transactions regularly taking place in her business account since she registered last year.

I need your opinions on this please. Thanks

If she wasn’t paid, it doesn’t count. It has to be paid work

Okay, I grab but I want to paint a scenario. What if she was paid but wasn't given employment letter based on siwes

Technically she has only 2 years experience. 1yr lab and 1yr registered business. The period Business wasn’t registered wont count. Except if she was working for another company during that period.

Another issue is the 1 year lab experience was during her siwes before HND and she wasn't given employment letter neither was she placed on salary. How can she tender it on her work history?
