Welp, the Unscrupulous lady ended the call while I was still talking, I didn’t even get a chance to tell her my email so she could check. So I tried logging in with my old password and I saw the test date and time there.
I knew I was going to get shortlisted cos I had 78% except them dey mad sha.

But then, this is Nigeria, things dey occur.

Omo, Nawa oo.. all these arguments tho. Personally,I believe not everyone was shortlisted for the second stage.

When the text invites started rolling in for second stage, I didn’t get it at all, and I tried logging in but was denied access. I was sort of worried and I put a call through to the testmi support numbers. She asked if I was able to login and I said nah, she said “ then you were not shortlisted for the second test”. This statement itself means that some people definitely were not shortlisted for second stage.

Although I got a mail about two days later informing me about the second test and I wrote it on Saturday.

So yeah I sort of believe not everyone was allowed to write the second test.
This is Nigeria tho, things dey occur!

isleek et Mzlawizzie, my guesses were right then. Them just wan dey stress person unnecessarily with that case study. Congrats to the Tax and Legal guys!

But my guess is they'll likely come up with another stage with some fancy name

From the words in quote, sounds like they might be skipping the assessment center tho.

So I learnt the assessment center for Tax & Legal was cancelled as scheduled today and “the next steps of the recruitment will be communicated to them”.

Is it advisable to resign from my current job. As I am expected to give a month notice before leaving. I don't know when Deloitte will resume. Because I received a mail on when is the earliest day I can assume my role.

Wait till you get the offer letter. They know people will have to give some weeks notice to their work place before resuming, so just chill till the letter shows up. You can also reply the mail by telling them you need to give your current workplace a month notice.

Deliotte needs to learn from other big 4 on how to run recruitment.
While some guys have done 3 interviews, some 2. Some have not even done PI.
Audit guys have gotten to the personality stage. While some guys still stuck at the case study level. No update.

Not only for audit.. other business units too. Deloitte is really, really disorganised. They be quiet for months then tell you that you have an interview tomorrow
